Leo's POV
"So what are we doing tonight guys? Training? Just a simple patrol? Bringing down a drug ring? I'm down for anything, honestly. Just say the word boss," Esme paced back and forth as she listed a few options, clearly very enthusiastic.
"Just a simple patrol or something, right Leo?" Raph asked.
"Well actually..."
"Or you know what, maybe we could do some training in the tunnels, we don't have to go out tonight," he interrupted.
"What? No! Leo, you said that we were going up top!" Esme looked at me with wide worried eyes.
"Yes we are. Before I was rudely interrupted I was going to say that Donnie got some info on a big deal going on between the Sharks and another gang. So if you're up for it, I was thinking we could intercept that."
"YES! Let's go!" She spun around and went running out into the tunnels, happy shouts echoing back to us.
"Esme, I told you to stay close to me!" Raph yelled as he chased after her.
"They don't even know where it's happening," Donnie sighed.
"Well then we better catch up," Mikey laughed, pulling out his skateboard and shooting down the tunnels after them.
"You heard him, let's go."
. . .
"This the place Donnie?" I asked, looking down at the warehouse.
"Yup, this is it."
"Alright," I looked at everyone before quietly nodding, starting to climb down the fire escape. The others followed closely after as we swiftly ran to the front of the building. We pressed ourselves against the wall to avoid being seen through the windows. I held my hand out to get them to stop, peeking into the window to get a better idea of what we were up against.
The main room had about a dozen people moving boxes off a truck and into the building. There was a staircase that seemed to lead to another room but from where I was I couldn't make out if anyone was in there.
We would definitely be able to take out the people on the main floor, so even if there were more people upstairs, we would be fine. I pulled away from the window, looking back at the guys and giving them a nod. We surrounded the door and with one swift kick we had gathered the attention of everyone there.
"Hope you don't mind if we cut in," I said, pulling my katanas out.
"Bro, enough with the one liners," Raph groaned.
"Yeah, let's kick some shell!" Mikey exclaimed.
I ran up to one of the closer guys who swung a wooden board at me. I dodged before taking the hilt of my sword and using it to knock him out.
I heard footsteps followed by a quick cry and flipped out of the way as a sledgehammer came down, hard, where I had been standing. My leg shot up, kicking the person to the ground, the force knocking them out almost instantly.
I looked around to see that the others had already taken care of the rest of the people that had been in here.
"Was that it?" Esme questioned, glancing around the room.
"How'd you find out about this deal Don?" I asked.
"I intercepted a transmission that said there was going to be a deal going on here tonight. A multi-million dollar one." He slid his bo shaft into its holster and began to type away on one of his devices, brows furrowed slightly in confusion.
