Micah wasn't done yet though. "Fine, go elope with your midget girlfriend."

That was it. I had enough. I swing at him and felt the impact of my fist and his jaw. I heard a whistle blow and my eyes widened.

Oh shit...

I bolted out the entrance without think as I heard the lifeguards shouting at me.

I ran to the sandlot even though it was scorching hot.

"Alaska! Alaska!" I heard the boys calling. I turned around and looked at them. They were all sweaty and they were panting.

"Alaska, are you okay?" Chrissy asked concerned.

Sadies put in, "Yeah, why'd you punch that kid?"

Benny put his hand on her should. "That kid was Micah Bruce," he said and I nodded.

"Why'd you do it though?" Smalls asked.

I blushed mad red. "He - he, he uh, was uh - "

"What'd he do to ya Laska?" Smalls asked.

"Nothing," I lied.

"Yeah, yeah, right," Yeah-Yeah said sarcastically.

I gave Yeah-Yeah a cold, hard glare and growled toughly, "What was that, Peewee?"

He looked taken aback and his eyes widened.

"Whoa Tiger, calm down," Bertram teased in a friendly way, sending everyone into a fit of laughter except me and Yeah-Yeah.

"Screw you Grover," I told Bertram, knowing how much he hates his middle name. "I'm not in any mood for teasing right now."

"Fine," Ham muttered. "But I had a good one."

"So, what should we do about this Micah Bruce situation?" Sadies asked.

We all thought for a moment, but I knew we all had the same idea. We had to teach Micah a lesson.

"He needs to know not to mess with you, Laska," Chrissy said. "Plus I need to get some payback on that kid too."

"Why's that guy messing with two of my women?" Squints complained, hooking his arms around me and Chrissy.

I let him keep his arm because for some reason it didn't bother me, but Christian pushed his arm away almost immediately. Why didn't he bother me?

"Well, why don't we get our cover-up clothes and then plot our revenge?" I suggested.

"Yeah yeah, let's go get our clothes," Yeah-Yeah agreed, eyeing Squints' arm around me and walking back to the pool. We followed him to where we left our clothes and seemed unusually quiet. He wasn't laughing or joking around with us like he usually would.

We picked up our clothes and went back to the sandlot. We all piled into the dugout and talked and talked and talked for what seemed like forever. Finally we came up with the solution to egg his house. We weren't gonna do it the same day though. No way. He needed to be paranoid for a bit. Plus Timmy and Chrissy had plans tonight. Ooh la la.

Chrissy's POV

Sadies, Alaska, the boys, and I piled into the dugout and talked about how we should get Micah Bruce back for what he did. Eventually we decided that we would let him off easy and just egg his house.

While everyone was talking, Timmy asked me to meet him at the carnival later that night. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know what you're thinking. No this is not a date. He never said it was, so it's not.
