My Hero Organization - Arc-1

Arc 1 - Chapter 2 | The Beginnings of Concern

The Main 3 had begun their reports to Director Tsukauchi. He was the lead detective a few years back on the League of Villains case and close friends with former Pro Hero All Might.

After proving his success over and over again, the I.H.O. appointed him to be the director of international threats.

During this meeting with our heroes, he began to show concern. Something was bothering him about this case.

"Is everything okay, director?" asked Deku after noticing that something was not quite right with The Director.

"Is anyone else beginning to sense a pattern with the latest incidents?" asked The Director. The group stood in silence not understanding where he was going with his question.

"Are you referring to the technology being used, Sir?" asked Deku.

"Lately a lot more villains have been using some crazy combat armor." respond Shoto.

"Precisely." Added The Director. "A few years ago, Our dear friend All Might used a very similar suit to combat All For One. However, his suit was a lot more advanced."

Shortly after that battle, more villains began to replicate the idea and create suits to enhance their chance at battle, just like All Might did. However, for a while, these suits did not hold up to the design that David and Malissa Shield had created.

"You've got to be kidding me." Asked Bakugo in annoyance. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" he directed towards the other heroes.

"I'm afraid we have a new investigation to commence." stated The Director. "Someone out there is supplying this technology, and we need to find out why"

Tsukauchi looked thoroughly displeased. The last couple of years had been a good start to a return to peace before All For One returned. Now there is a new threat trying to disrupt the peace.

"We will meet in the war room tomorrow morning with the rest of our team." ordered the Director. "For now, you are dismissed. Go home and get some rest."

The three boys left the room and entered the common area. All three of them looked nauseous about the fact of a new potential leader of chaos.

"I'll see you two tomorrow. I'm running late for something tonight" stated Todaroki after checking his watch.

"Where are you off to Icy hot?" asked Bakugo with his classic nickname for the hot and cold hero.

"I-I Uh... Have plans!" Todaroki nervously started to take off.

"Not so fast!" Explained Deku as he caught his fiend with Black Whip.

"In all the years I've known you, I don't think you've ever been this scared to tell the truth," Bakugo explained.

"We know you all too well, Todoroki!" Reminded Deku as he pulled him back closer.

"Fine, I'll talk." Explained Todoroki. "I... Have a date..."

Both Deku and Bakugo looked at him at first with shock, then quickly grew into a devious expression.

"Well, it's about time Damn it!" Bakugo teased. "What's his name!" Todoroki looked in shock and anger at his response.

"HER name is Yaoyorozu you ass!" Todaroki shot back.

Both boys were shocked yet again at his response, but for different reasons. Deku was shocked because he had waited for years to finally see those two together. Bakugo was shocked because he actually thought Todoroki was gay.

"I really am running late!" He explained. "Please let me go and I promise to talk more about it tomorrow!" he pleaded.

Deku then released his Black Whip and let the poor guy go. Todaroki then ran straight for the door, wasting no time at all.

"You know, speaking of romance..." Bakugo started turning his attention to Deku. "How are things with you and Uraraka?" he asked with genuine interest.

"Really good!" Deku said with excitement. "I think it's about time."

"Is the ring in yet?" his friend then asked him.

"It should be ready some time this week!"  Deku replied.

He was extremely excited yet incredibly nervous at the same time. Things truly have been going great for the couple. And Izuku was ready to take things to the next level with her. Granted it's only been a few years, it has felt like a lifetime and they had already been through so much together.

The only concern was if she felt the same way already.

"What if she's not ready?" Deku asked, a little distraught.

"I'm sure she is, man." Bakugo replied.

"I hope you're right," Deku added before beginning to walk again, heading to the elevator to head back up to the main floor.

    "I know you two all too well," Bakugo began. "You're both so damn happy together. She would be stupid to say no!"

    Both boys made it to the locker room, and changed out of their hero uniforms and into street clothes.

    Before taking off, they scanned their ID's at the main entrance and headed out.

    "Oh, Deku. One last thing," Bakugo started, "Don't overthink it. I know you will regardless, but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

    "I'll try not to," Deku replied.

    After this brief interaction, they both used their quirks to fly off into different directions heading home for the night.

That is all for chapter 2! I am so excited to see how the rest of this story unfolds. Who is this villain? Is Deku really ready to propose to Uraraka!? Shoto Has a date!?! AND BAKUGO IS A NICE FRIEND!?!?!

Also just an FYI, I will try to consistently post Arc-1 up on Thursdays for now. I am still working on the rest of the chapters at this time, and I know my work schedual will get even crazier. I am making an effort to post these in advance. Thank you!
