Arc 1 - Chapter 24 | The Final Battle - Pt.1

The weekend had passed and it was now Tuesday morning. Ochako had to take an extra day off on monday to meet up with Aizawa to return Eri. Although, it was The Director's fault that she had her in the first place.

Ochako was now back in her office. Tsu and Mina were with her talking about the girls night they had planned for next Friday with Momo.

Overall, it was a nice and quiet day so far. The only thing to come through the wire was a request from the Ryukyu agency asking for Anima's help on a missing persons case in the mountains.

All Might was even in the building today. He had plans to meet up with The Director about the Mecha War Case, and discuss possible leads he had from his time overseas.

Izuku made his way over to the large common table where a group of heroes were discussing a combo move to shut down a mech.

"So what kind of plan are you working on?" Deku asked.

"We are trying to figure out a way to overload their power sources." Chargebolt explained.

"There should be a way to corrode the reactors enough to where they will not be able to regulate a charge." Inginium went on.

"That's a good idea! I may have some notes in my notebook you can use if that helps?" Deku offered in classic fashion.

"I cannot believe you are still taking notes after all these years..." Earphone Jack expressed.

"Well, it has helped in several situations before!" Deku defended. "Let me go grab it quick. It's in my-" he began before stopping suddenly.

Everyone jumped up once they saw the physical reaction he just had.

Ochako noticed what was happening from the window in her office. She immediately dropped what she was doing and exited to the hallway.

A sharp stinging pain hit Deku in the back of his head. It was his Danger Sense.

"Everyone take cover!" Deku cried out right before a loud explosion could be heard from above.

The roof of the International Heroes Organization fell. A few of the rescue heroes quickly started moving people out of harm's way.

Shoto created an ice barrier to stop some of the debris from falling on the group in the center of the room.

Without hesitation, All Might clicked the button on the handle of his metal briefcase and started to suit up.

The light that was initially spilling in from the sun was soon covered by a silhouette of a large mech standing at the hole in the roof.

It was a tall mech that stood about twenty five meters in height. It was a bulky, yet strong looking design. This mech resembled that of Gigantomachia.

"For too long, you heroes defended your so-called peace! You've been nothing but a thorn in my side for the last five years!" The man in the mech screamed out.

"Redestro..." Deku said in a neutral tone of anger.

The helmet retracted on the suit to show the triangular face of the villain they have been after.

"We have spent years trying to fulfill our destiny!" The villain began. "Things were going so well just four years ago... That was until YOU heroes got in our way! We were so close to true liberation! We had the perfect plan... Then the 'heroes' stormed our secret base at the Gunga Villa!"

The villain dropped down to the ground floor, kicking up a large cloud of dust from the debris.

"But you, Deku, are the one I blame the most..." Redeastro explained as he lifted his giant robotic arm towards the number one hero.
