My Hero Organization - Arc-1

Arc 1 - Chapter 16 | Commence The Raid! - Purge Pt.1

It was the next morning at the I.H.O. and everyone was in the briefing room to talk about the events of last night's attack.

"Thanks to the heroes in the field, we have gathered very useful intel on what we believe is the enemy's headquarters." The Director explained. "Our goal is to infiltrate this base, apprehend as many villains as possible, and shut down the operation."

The heroes looked around, feeling a hint of deja vu.

"This is an all hands on deck operation. Combat division, report at the hanger in fifteen minutes. Rescue division, prepare to follow shortly. Intel division, remain on standby for backup." The Director announced before ending the meeting.

The combat heroes headed for the hangar. The engineers were turning the war jet into position and revving engines for take off.

"Deku! Hold up a second!" Uravity called out to her partner before he left the doors to enter the plane. "Be careful out there. I won't be far behind." she explained sternly before giving him a quick kiss.

The heroes boarded the jet and fastened their belts to the side rows of seats. The heroes who required it put on parachutes for drop.

The plan was to engage in an aerial attack and land in front of the base to storm the headquarters. The hope was to attack them before they suspect anything and prepare for an attack.

"Launch in 5... 4... 3... 2... CODE RED! CODE RED!" the intercom blasted.

"What's going on?" Asked Chargebolt, still strapped into his chair.

"We have an attack in the city. Rerouting destination to..." The Director began and paused. "There's another attack!" he began again.

Deku got out of his seat and ran off the jet to the control room. Using a small percentage of one for all, he sped through with incredible speed. He crashed through the doors to see the control room agents in a panic.

"Sir, what's going on?" He asked The Director with urgency.

"There seems to be a mech in every major city." The dispatcher explained with a pale expression.

Deku and The Director locked eyes and both began to run in different directions.

"This is a Fall Out Scenario! All available heroes need to be dispatched effectively immediately!" The Director called out over the comms system. "I repeat! This is a Fall Out Scenario! Every city is under attack!"

Deku ran back out into the hangar and began giving orders.

"If you can fly, run to the closer cities. If you cannot, stay on the jet to drop off on the farther out ones!" Deku Began.

"Reserve jet is loading up now!" announced an engineer in the background. "Reinforcements are preparing for launch as well!"

Deku looked around and took in all the chaos that was unfolding. He could feel his heartbeat rapidly. He began to break a sweat and lose focus. Suddenly he was snapped back into reality when Uravity shook him.

"We need to go now!" She expressed pulling on his arm.

"Right. Float!" he called out and began flying off, followed by Uravity.

The two heroes were heading off with great speed, with the two jets passing them.

"I can see a mech down there!" Uravity called out.

There was a suit that seemed to stand about 8 feet tall. It was another bulky design.

"Form three!" Deku called out. He began thrusting his legs for fa jin, and grabbed Uravity's hand.

When they held hands, Deku had become weightless. At the same time, he used his gear shift on her to increase her speed.

"Time it on three!" Deku began. "One... Two... Three! Fa Jin!" He called out. He then propelled himself like a missile towards the villain. He then charged up full cowling at seventy five percent.

"Release!" Uravity cried out letting both of them go from the quirk. She had timed it just right that Deku gained all his mass weight back right on time for impact.

The villain was sent several meters back. The mech took a second to recover, but did get back up.

"Flash Cannon!" The villain called out shooting a beam at the two heroes.

Deku leaped over to save Uravity and pulled her right out of the blast. The beam hit a wall behind them, creating a massive crater leaving a ton of debris.

"That does not look like a fun one to get hit by," Uravity explained in fear.

They shot back up and Deku let out a smoke screen to cover the field and blind the mech user.

"Zero Satellites!" Uravity cried out swinging debris from the last attack at the opponent, landing a few hits giving Deku an opening for a smash.

He hit the villain again, but this time it only knocked them back a little.

Deku then used Black Whip to grab onto the mech as Uravity touched them, making them weightless. He flew up a ways and began to swing the villain as they broke free of the Black Whip.

"Nice Try Hero!" the villain explained. "Flash Cannon!" he cried out again as a large beam came out of the gauntlet.

Deku had just barely avoided the attack and was able to grab on with Black Whip again to pull them forward and hit them down with a smash.

The dust settles for a moment as Uravity and Deku catch their breaths. Before they had a chance to react, another beam had blasted to both of their surprises.

Deku was able to jump out of the way just in time to speed over to the villain and kick the gauntlet with shoot style.

As the beam stopped, a crash could be heard from the building starting to crumble.

"Ochako!" Deku screamed out as he rushed for her, but he realized it was already too late.

She had been knocked out from the beam. He swooped in just in time to rescue her from the falling building.

"Ocha! Can you hear me?" Deku cried out, noticing the injury she had sustained. He leaned his ear to her chest and could still hear a faint heartbeat holding on.

Behind him, the mech began to get up again.

Without any hesitation, he sat her down carefully, making sure not to hurt her any more.

Green lightning began to surge around him, and black whip peered out like extra arms.

"You will regret that!" Deku stated in pure anger.

At the speed of light he hit the villain with several attacks, ripping apart the plates making up the armor.

He shoved his fist in and grabbed the power source for the suit and ripped it out. The mech then collapsed to the ground.

Deku tore off the villain's helmet with haste to reveal that they were knocked out by Deku's swift attacks.

He began to breathe frantically and grabbed Ochako and rushed her to the nearest hospital he could find.

They landed in front of the doors, and he rushed in there wasting no time, still holding Uravity in his arms.

"I need help!" Deku cried out. "She was blasted by a villain!"

Two doctors came rushing over with a rolling bed and laid her on it carefully. They immediately rushed her over to the emergency room.

Deku stood there for a moment petrified. He had no clue how bad she was actually hurt. The force she took was enough to collapse her organs if it didn't.

He walked back out the main entrance and looked into the sky. Explosions and other noises can be heard in the distance from other heroes fighting the army of villains.

Deku continued to stand for a moment trying to make sense of the situation and attempted to clear his head, with no avail.

"I will save the day. For her!" he whispered to himself out loud.

He reached a hand behind his head and pulled down his mask. There was only one other time he felt anger like this.
