75. A WICKED GAME!

"What do you mean by nothing huh? My girl there is lying on a sick hospital bed, & here you're saying nothing is wrong, that she is fine! Then why isn't she fucking waking up?" asked I holding the collar of the doctor.

"Sir please relax, & tell me what's wrong?" asked me a lady doctor, approaching me! I know her, she is the best doctor here!

"My girl skipped a few meals & medicines after being shot, as she felt nausea & vomited all she ate! & now even after she was admitted, she lost her consciousness thrice!" spoke I.

"& this useless piece of shit says nothing is wrong! If it's so then why is she suffering this much, even after being admitted for a whole fucking day!" I spat holding the collar of the scared doctor again.

"Sir, sir, please leave him! I'll look into the matter! Please tell me Doctor who is the patient, & her ward number!" demanded Doctor Singh, the most experienced & best doctor of the whole city.

She checked my girl, who was unconscious.

"Was she on medications?" asked Dr. Singh to the nurse.

"Yes Doctor, these are the tablets, which she took for three days, & then skipped for a day! We gave these to her in noon & morning as well." spoke the middle aged nurse.

"Do these tests, urgently nurse, & I want the report within half-an-hour!" declared Dr. Singh, in an urgent tone.

"Will you tell me what's happening?" asked I impatiently, as Avi held my shoulder to calm me down.

But how can I calm down, after seeing her such panicked state! She looked on the verge of another panic attack!

"Please come to my cabin Sir!" requested Dr. Singh, & me & Avi followed.

"Sir, I've checked all the vitals of her, which seemed normal, as the other Doctors have declared!" spoke she.

"Then what's wrong with her? Is she too weak?" asked Avi concerned. Though he is acting calm, I know he is worried about my girl!

"No, she is alright! The issue is with these medicines!" spoke she showing me the medicines which my girl was being given!

"What's wrong? Are they expired?" asked I anticipating, & thinking ways of murdering the one who did so to my girl!

"No! They're not expired, but they're not required!" spoke she, as I furrowed my brows at her in confusion.

"Let me explain! These are not the medicines we prescribed to her! They are the same covers, but someone replaced the tablets within! We gave her some pain-killers & other normal hemoglobin tablets, insisting more upon healthy diet, & those tablets have no side-effects, & so were they given to Miss. Mathur!" spoke she.

"Why is she so weak & sick then? She stopped taking these carelessly, as she had nausea, & vomiting after taking these, & also her hunger has died! In fact she wasn't well mentally as well! She looked on verge on panic-attack, & at last even fainted!" spoke I, frustrated.

"These are all due to this drug!" spoke she showing us a bottle of tablets, which I took in my hands.

"Someone replaced her tablets, with these drugged ones, which affects one's mental health!" spoke the Doctor with a very serious face, as me & Avi looked at her & the medicines shocked!

"Are you sure Doctor?" asked Avi.

"I can smell them, & also I got them tested urgently, & we'll soon find out which drug was used, & in what quantity!" spoke she confidently.

"Means someone tried to harm Princess!" spoke Avi, as the Doctor agreed.

"Doctor!" came in a nurse with a file.

Doctor read it, & then sent the nurse away.

"Mr. Khurana, this is a very dangerous drug, but it was deliberately used in lower quantity!" spoke she looking into the file yet.

"Means someone wanted the drug to affect her slowly?" asked I.

"Yes! Maybe someone was revenging on her, for some matter, but didn't want to kill her, for if that person wanted to kill Miss. Mathur, or harm her severely, I'm sorry, but her survival would have become difficult!" spoke she, as I fisted my hands, seeing red!

"Who could do such a joke with her?" asked Avi, he himself as angry as me.

"We should be thankful that she skipped the tablets!" spoke the Doctor, as we looked at her.

"& what about that vomiting & all?" asked I.

"These are the side-effects of the harmful drug, & maybe, it reacted more due to her injured & weak self, painkillers & also her skipping of meals! It might include vomiting, fever, body ache, lack of hunger, panic attacks, indigestion, etc." spoke the doctor guessingly.

"Then what should we do now? When will she be alight?" asked I desperately.

"You needn't worry Mr. Khurana! We should be grateful that she didn't take more of these drugs, & we caught it on time, else the reasons could be devastating! Her state was worst today as we gave her this dose twice here! If these tablets continued for long, she'd have become a mental patient!" spoke she, as she paused sighing.

"Now that we have caught it, I'll prescribe some other medicines, but our focus should again be on a healthy diet & a good & happy environment, with no stress, at least for a few weeks, for the drugs' effect can be reduced, but not finished by other meds! So keep her away from any stress, considering her history with panic attacks! Rest all will be alright!" spoke she with a professional smile.

I thanked her, & went to see my girl, who was unconscious till now!

"Avi, get me all the details of the mole! He tried to harm my girl, & I know someone from inside is involved with those Scorpios!" spoke I.

"But Bhai, that Scorpio leader is after Rose, then why did he harm her, I don't get it! Maybe it's someone else!" anticipated Avi.

"No Avi, no! If it was someone else, then they would firstly attack me, or you, or Mom or Vidhi, but not Aisha, after getting this close to replace her medicines, & also considering least people know about us! It's he only! He is obsessed with Aisha, & he is using her to warn me! He doesn't want her dead, but he wants her weak, so he can easily take her away from us! But I'll never let this happen!" declared I!

"Yes Bhai! I agree! I'll work on it! But what now?" asked he.

"Ask someone to pack Aisha's stuff! I & she, we're going to our Goa's safe-house, or beach-house for the world!" spoke I smirking, as he smirked as well, knowing very well why am I taking her to Goa!

I walked inside & sat by my girl, holding her hands!

I caressed her beautiful face, as she whimpered in her sleep! I know she is in pain, but I promise to give a hundred times more pain to that fox who tried to hurt MY GIRL!
