VIVAAN
I thought of possibility of whatever Avi spoke, & indeed it was possible. Plus I didn't know much more about her.
I looked at Avi, who looked at me back.
"Get her info!" I ordered.
"Do you think I will ever leave you with a stranger without knowing about her!" he said smirking.
Of course, he is best at his work, & I'm proud of it. I'm the one who trained him, & I'm proud, both of him & me.
"& what do you know about her?" I asked straight.
"Not the thing you want, but a few basics." he said professionally.
"Like?" I asked.
"Like her name is Aisha Mathur, a B.A. student, 20 yrs old, residing in Sunshine complex, owned by us, with her cousin Isha Bakshi, & that she was coming from the birthday party of her friend Sid! & as she said she is going to her college, St. Mary, again owned by us, to submit her assignment, which has the last submission date today.... " he said, getting comfortable on the couch in the ward, eating his sandwich.
"Which means she didn't run away from us, she actually had some important work!" added my oh-ever-so-hopeful- subconscious. Hey but he knowing it all mean....
"That mean you are..." he cut me off.
"Yes Boss, I'm keeping tabs on her. She went to clean her car, after going from here, then to her residence, & then in half an hour, she went for her college, which means poor she couldn't even have her breakfast!" he said with his cold expressions, munching his sandwich.
I like his professionalism very much. He might act as an annoying bastard at times, but is cold & professional, when it comes to work. I never admit, but I adore him a lot!
"Good job! But I want every detail of her, by this evening, since the day she was born to the day we met!" I said, coldly with same expressions, & he just nodded once.
"& when am I getting discharged from here?" I asked him.
"Now!" he said pressing the button by me bed to call the nurse. She came & he asked for the bills & discharge papers.
"But Sir the bill has already been paid." She said confused.
"What do you mean?" asked I.
"Sir we take our fees in advance, to not take any risk in future." she said politely.
"& can we know who paid the bills of us?" asked Avi, confused.
"Sure Sir." she went & came with a file, in a few minutes.
"Sir your bill has been paid by Miss. Aisha Mathur, the girl who brought you here." she said, handling Avi the file.
I took it from him, & came to know she was saying it all true.
It had her sign & transaction details as well. We looked at each other shocked, & the nurse left.
"Isn't she too good for her own self?" thought I.
Avi looked confused.
"Well pay her back, double the amount, taking her account details! & do it right after we reach home!" I ordered Avi.
I get she helped me, gave me the lift, saved me, cared for me the whole night, all out of humanity, but why did she pay for me? Who does that in today's money minded world? I was confused.
Well it can be just two things, either she doesn't value money, or she has abundance of it.
Well I don't have any issue with both, but I just want to know the reason, else I will die of curiosity. If she doesn't value money, I have it for her to spend like water; & if she has it in abundance, then it's ok for me too. But what if it is something else? I kept on thinking till we reached our home.
