VIVAAN
I kept on squeezing her hands, hugging her, & sniffing her calming jasmines' scent, to calm myself down, & to believe that she is alive, yes she is alive! She'll have to be, she better be!
My driver stopped the car, as I rushed out holding her in my trembling hands, with a more trembling heart! I felt like I'm running for my very own life! Well that's the case, what's my life without her now anyways!
"We're here Sweetheart, she nothing will happen to you!" I spoke convincing her unconscious form, or rather convincing myself!
For it was me who needed any convincing, as she was already peaceful, like my state doesn't matter to her, like she didn't know what will happen to me, if she does this! How selfish of her to not consider me, & only herself?
We both got wet, as it rained cats-&-dogs, & I couldn't wait for someone to come with an umbrella for me during such a critical moment!
I covered her face with mine, shadowing her from hitting rain, as I looked closer at her peaceful face, like now she fears nothing!
I've seen people throwing their own flesh & blood, their own family members, to me to save their own lives, & here is she, my girl! What is she made of? How could she take all these wounds for me, without even letting out a sigh? It was like she wasn't getting shot! She smiled serenely, taking away my peace completely!
"Doctor, doctor!" shouted I, as I saw the stretcher already prepared! Avi had got it all ready, as I had called him in our way to hospital!
The doctor came to me & bowed down!
I lost it as I held his collar pulling him to me!
"It's not the time for all this idiot! But let me tell one, & just one thing! If anything happens to MY GIRL, none sharing blood with you will have even a drop of blood left in their bodies, including you yourself! Understand? You better do!" warned I holding him closer by his collars, pointing at him, as he almost pissed in his pants!
"Vivaan, what are you doing? Leave him!" spoke Avi as he just reached the hospital, & I moved back, turning around, moving my hands in my wet hairs, in frustration, as Avi asked the doctor to do his job & sent him in!
"What do you think were you doing? He is the best we've got! You wanted him to die of a heart attack himself before treating her, huh?" scolded he in anger!
"Don't you worry, our Rose will be alright!" spoke he worried himself, patting my back, as he moved him palm over his worried face.
"If anything happens to my girl, Avi, I'll burn everyone alive!" I spoke almost yelling, as my voice echoed in the empty hallways, where only reflections of our guards can be seen.
"Bhai, bhai!!" here came in Vidhi, as I looked at her teary face.
She came rushing to me, followed by my Mom, as they both hugged me tight.
"W-what is all t-this brother?" asked Vidhi pointing at me, all scared, so I looked at myself, in the glass nearby.
My white shirt was crimson due to blood, her blood, as it got wet due to rain & stick to my chest like skin itself! My hands & face was bloody as well, & so were my wet hairs, it was all blood, her blood! The proof of her love, her confessions, all to me, for me!
"Are you ok son?" asked my Mom worried, broken & softened.
It's for the first time in more than a decade that she had let her guards down, as she was crying for the first time after Dad's death.
