Equin shook her head at what Connor had told her, before making an attempt to get up from Connor's arms only to fail and have him pull her back to him in a tight grip. "Connor, you are aware that we can't stay in the woods like this. We are going to have to get up and make our way back to camp. Besides you have to let Angelina and that other girl go."

"They can wait a little bit longer to be set free. Right now, I am enjoying some much-needed alone time with my little mate. Besides, I have waited quite some time to get you alone like this. I don't want to rush it," Connor said.

"Connor, you're going to have plenty of opportunities to get me alone like this. You made it quite clear that I won't be leaving you anytime soon," Equin said. "Please can we start heading back to the camp and let Angelina out? The sooner you let her go back to town, the sooner you can have me all to yourself. That also means more intimate time for us to spend together."

Connor thought about it for a moment, playing with the idea in his head before making a decision. "If you're promising more intimate moments together like this one, then I'll gladly go back to camp with you and release both Angelina and Hallee. But they also have to promise not to come making their way back up to my camp. That's the condition of their release. I don't want them snooping around, interfering with our lives, as you and I transition into the new lifestyle of being mates as well as adjusting to our new role as parents."

"That is something that you are going to have to speak to them about. That is going to be between you, Angelina and Hallee. I want nothing to do with it, because I refuse to have people try and put me in the middle and make me choose a side. I want to remain neutral and stay out of it," Equin said.

"I respect your decision, but if it came down to it, who would you side with," Connor asked.

"Please don't make me choose. Because you know damn well that I can choose between you and my own family," Equin said.

Connor let out an annoyed sigh. "Little mate, you understand that you are gonna have to make a tough decision."

"I understand that I'm gonna have to make a tough decision. But I don't have to make that kind of decision right now. Right now, all I'm concerned about is getting Angelina and the other girl out of that cage and forget about this. Let's just let them go. We move on from this and focus on our future together. Please," Equin asked.

"Since you're asking so icely, I will let Angelina and Hallee out. But as I have told you before, I'm going to warn them about staying away from the camp. I know you don't want me to do that. But I have to make it clear that I mean business," Connor said. Connor got up pulling Equin up along with them. "Get dressed little mate. Because we have things to take care of back at camp."

Both Equin and Connor got dressed in her clothes, before turning to look at Connor. "Ready to head back to camp?"

Connor walked over to Equin picking her up and began carrying her back to the camp. "Now I'm ready. I'm ready to show everyone at the camp that you are now my woman."

"You are aware that I'm capable of walking," Equin said.

"I Know you're capable of walking, but I don't want to put you down. I want to carry you. I also enjoy holding you close to me. Holding you close makes me feel complete," Connor explained.

"Say no more. If you're enjoying me close then I won't argue with you about it," Equin said.

Hallee and Angelina sat in the cage waiting to hear anything about what happened between Equin and Connor.

"What do you think is going on between Connor and Equin," Hallee asked.

"What do you mean by that," Angelina asked.
