Monique's Pov
my weekend was spent relaxing on the couch with Netflix and doing some uni work, however, I did continue to message Charlie, I know I know, I said I should stop, but I couldn't help it he was like a magnet drawing me in when I wasn't seeing him, I was thinking about him, it was beginning to consume me, and it wasn't good, but I had no control over it anymore.
Charlie: Hey Mon, How are you?
Monique: I'm good thank you, yourself?
Charlie: yeah I'm good, how's your day? been up to much?
Monique: no not really, just been watching Netflix and doing uni work, you?
Charlie: same just recovery, nothing fancy
Monique: recovery is important though
Charlie: Yes, Dr. Monique 😂
Monique: I'm not a doctor but thanks 😂
Charlie: but you could be if you wanted to
Monique: yeah but that requires more studying and I'm not a fan of that
Charlie: but you're smart, you've got this
Monique: thanks, but I don't know imagine Monique Larkin Dr of Sports Therapy
Charlie: has a nice ring to it I think
Monique: ha ha very funny
Charlie: I'm not joking but alright
Monique: sure sure
Charlie: So I'm bored, Let's do something
Monique: like what?
Charlie: I don't know, I know barely anything about you lets play 20 questions
Monique: and I like it that way, you know I work at your football club, and technically I'm breaching my contract by messaging you.
Charlie: I know that, and I thank you for taking that risk for me
Monique: you started it, I'm only messaging you back out of kindness, I don't want to leave you on read
Charlie: Ouch okay aha I'll stop messaging you then.
Monique: okay then be my guest.
I don't know why but I'm so much more confident talking to him over the phone, it's like I'm someone else, and I can think about what I say before I say it. Charlie must have taken my message literally because he hasn't messaged me for 15 minutes, and its actually killing me.
Monique: alright fine, I'm sorry, I enjoy talking to you
Charlie: that's what I thought 😊
Monique: so 20 questions?
Charlie: sounds good, I'll go first, what's your favourite colour?
Monique: that's easy, Blue
Charlie: what kind of blue?
Monique: Like a light blue, like the sky
Charlie: Pretty
Monique: okay my turn, what's your favourite colour?
Charlie: Copycat, my favourite colour is Blue as well but like navy, like Carlton blue
Monique: coincidentally
Charlie: what kind of music do you like to listen to?
Monique: I like pop mostly, Harry Styles, Taylor Swift, that sort of stuff, but I'm pretty easy and can listen to anything and everything
