Chapter 25

Charlie's Pov

we had just finished the viewing session and went through everything we needed to work on. I wondered if Monique was still here or if she didnt get fired, I went over to her office and knocked on the door "Come in" she said, she was still there, I opened the door and walked in "So you werent fired?" i asked, she didnt even answer me she just ran up and hugged me "thank you" she said "what for?" i asked "for going up to his office and talking to him" she said "well i had to do something" i said "it worked! i wasnt fired, he's just given me a 2 week suspension to get my shit together" she laughed "thats amazing!" i said hugging her again "but thats not even the best part" she said excitedly "what do you mean?" i asked "he said we could keep being together, just make sure it doesnt go public or the club will have to deal with it and he doesnt want that" she said "thats incredible" i said smiling from ear to ear "yeah, im so happy" she said "so when does your suspension start?" i asked "tomorrow" she answered "at least its only 2 weeks" i said "exactly!" she said excitedly "although we do need to talk" she added "what do you mean?" i asked "well... what are we exactly?" she questioned "well... i wanted to take you out on a proper date to ask you, but i guess this works too, Will you be my girlfriend?" i asked "you're amazing, of course i will" she answered, we kissed and then i said goodbye to her and left the club. 

Monique's Pov

today was one of the best days ever. I was keeping my job and now Charlie and I were actually officially together. I made my way home after saying goodbye to Lauren. after arriving home I sat down on the couch and messaged my friends

Monique: hey guys, just thought I'd let you know Charlie and I were caught out if you saw Twitter, but I wasn't fired, I've just been suspended for 2 weeks and the CEO said that he would turn a blind eye to it as long as our relationship doesn't go out to the public and affect the club.

Amy: that sucks but is also good to hear, I'm glad he came around

Jenny: that's so good!

Monique: also would like to let you guys know that we are officially dating, like boyfriend and girlfriend

Jenny: OMG OMG OMG YESSSS

Amy: Congratulations, I'm so happy for you

Monique: thanks guys I really appreciate your support

Amy: anytime my love

Jenny: of course

not long later I got a message from Charlie

Charlie: hey girlfriend, Ed and Emily would like to know if you want to come over for games night again tonight

Monique: so I can beat your ass again?

Charlie: oh that's definitely not happening this time

Monique: oh i don't know, I think Em and I have it in the bag

Charlie: we will see about that. I'll see you soon

Monique: you too.

I decided to have a shower and put on some casual but nice clothes and then drove to Ed's place, I really liked how isolated it was from everything, it was like they were in their own little world. I knocked on the door "Monique! come in" Emily said greeting me "Hey em, thank you for having me again" I smiled as I walked in "Monique, how are you?" Ed asked "I'm doing really good" I smiled, "Charlie told us what happened, I'm glad everything has worked out for the both of you and Congratulations by the way," Emily said "Thank you so much, I'm so happy" I smiled "now I have to warn you, he's not very good at communication so if you need something clarified you will need to demand it of him," Ed said "Ed!" Emily said slapping his arm "What? It's true, I don't want her to think he doesn't like her" Ed said "I'm sure she is aware that he likes her," Emily said "Well I'd hope so considering he was the one that asked" I laughed "I'm glad" Emily smiled nudging Ed one last time, the front door opened and close and then Charlie appeared in the living room "hey everyone" he smiled "hey," we all said in unison "what's the plan for tonight?" Charlie asked "Well it got a bit competitive last time so we thought we would leave that up to the both of you" Emily smiled at Charlie and me "What would you like to do babe?" Charlie asked sitting next to me "I don't know, this isn't my place, you guys can choose" I said, "How about we just relax and watch a couple of movies?" Emily suggested "That sounds like a good idea" I smiled 

we watched a couple of movies and Ed and Emily were cuddled up together and so were Charlie and I. I was happy and comfortable, there wasn't any other place I wanted to be. About half an hour later, I heard little footsteps coming from down the hallway, and Will came around the corner "Uncle Charlie!" he said running towards Charlie and jumping up on him "Will, you're meant to be asleep, what are you doing up?" Emily asked "I heard voices, I wanted to see who was here," he said "Auntie Nique!" he said realizing that I was sitting next to Charlie "Hey Will" I smiled "Are you Uncle Charlie's special friend?" he asked me, I giggled "yeah I am" I smiled at him "so you're going to me like mummy and daddy," he said excitedly "not for a while yet buddy" Ed said laughing. we let Will stay up a little before Emily went and took him back to bed. "I should probably get going thank you for tonight," I said standing up "You're always welcome here," Emily said "Thank you" I answered and made my way to the door "I'm going to get going too, I'll see you tomorrow" Charlie said to Ed and followed me out "have fun you two" Ed said laughing, we walked outside "ill see you later i guess" i said "yeah, i guess i wont see you tomorrow" he said "i guess you could come over after training" i said "i could" he smiled "goodnight Charlie, I love you" i smiled "Goodnight Mon, i love you too" he said leaning down and kissing me.

I got into my car and drove home, then got into my pajamas and headed to bed. I wasn't ready to spend the next 2 weeks doing nothing.. this was going to be hard.
