Monique's Pov

I headed into work as normal this morning, I hadn't spoken to my friends in a couple of days, so maybe we should meet up again, I don't know whether to tell them about Charlie, or if Jenny is just going to overreact like normal.  I got out of my car and headed into the club, I said hi to Kelly as I entered, and made my way to my room and set everything up, Lauren popped her head in "Good Morning Mon, how was your first day yesterday?" she asked "it was really good, all the boys are so welcoming" i answered "they are pretty good, although i heard you were being bombarded with the young ones" she laughed "yeah kinda, i mean it was just Jack, Tom and Charlie, although Tom came in here twice" i answered "Jack and Tom arent injured at the moment, what did they come to you for?" she asked "well Jack had some pain in his quad and tom had some hamstring tightness" i answered "oh fair enough" she answered "you enjoying the attention?" she asked "yes and no, i like being wanted, in terms of people wanting to come and see me for their injuries, but being asked out was not appropriate" i laughed "oh my god, who asked you out? was it Charlie?" she asked "what? no, it was Walshy" i answered "oh my god" she laughed out loud, "thats hilarious, i wonder what charlie thought?" she asked "what do you mean? he was there when he asked  me out" i said "oh was he? i dont know, i guess you havent noticed the way he looks at you" she said "wait what? what do you mean?" i asked "whenever youre in the same room together, he doesnt look at anyone else but you, i think he has a little crush" she smiled "i highly doubt that" i said laughing "i dont know" she said teasingly as she left my room. I had no idea what she was on about, I sighed and went and got the towels again, as I was exiting the washroom and walking through the locker room I ran into someone and dropped all the towels "I'm so sorry I couldn't see" I said as I bent down to pick up the towels "it's okay" they answered helping my pick up the towels, I looked up to see who it was, it was Ed, Charlie's Brother "thank you for helping" I smiled "no worries, have a good day" he said leaving me to go get more clean towels.

once I got back to my office I put the towels away and sat down to do some uni work. while I waiting for anyone who needed anything to come through, I had worked out after my first day that I don't like people knocking on my door, so I'll only have it closed if I have someone in the room. I stood up to sort some things out and I could hear talking outside my office "She is so pretty, how did we get this lucky, she could have gone to any other club" I heard someone say "Yeah she really is, I can't believe she turned me down" I heard another say, that must have been Walshy "oi Charlie, don't you agree?" I heard one ask "What?" he asked "shes super pretty," another voice said "She's our sports therapist guys, professional" he answered "Yeah yeah, but she's hot," another said "and again, nothing is going to happen she is professional" Charlie said. I decided that now was my chance to look over and see who else there was talking about me, as I looked they all quickly dispersed, all but Charlie who lifted his hand up and waved at me before leaving himself.

I went back to my work and waited patiently for anyone who needed help, today was reasonably quiet and the players had a short day today so there wasn't much for me to do, however, I was excited for tomorrow because it was game day which meant I was going to be more involved again.

Lauren and I got told we could leave once all the players did so that's exactly what we did, I decided to message the girls to see if they were free and then headed to the coffee shop where we planned to meet. once I had arrived I found a table and waited for them I was scrolling through my phone when I got yet another message from Charlie

Charlie: hey, I'm sorry about today I hope you are okay

Monique: hey, it's all good, boys will be boys, thank you for sticking up for me though

Charlie: oh you heard all that aha

Monique: I sure did and I really appreciate it

Charlie: No worries, happy to help
