Dating had never really been a concept in my head. I had had multiple flings. Multiple girls whom I had dated. Half of whose names I didn't even remember. I was the complete opposite of what my parents and Amara were.

The believed in love.
They believed in fate.
They believed in loving one person forever.

I had never found any reason to believe in those things from my own personal experience. I had never really felt the need to love someone so deeply that I would lose myself for them.
.
.
That was all until I kissed Evara that night.
.
.
Her plush and soft lips. The taste of strawberries and vanilla. Her body pressed hard against mine. Her legs wrapped around my waist. Her tongue swirled in my mouth while it clashed with my own tongue. Her dazed eyes. Her addictive voice. Her attitude. Her smile. Her blushing face.

Her.
Evara Acharya.

She was everything I originally hated but ended up liking when I got a glimpse of the secrets she hides.

Like a starved soul that can only ever be filled with her existence mixing with mine. Flowing through my veins like the blood that flows through them.

She is the fate mother talks about.

And she was my fate.
She was my girlfriend.
My girl.

The bet never mattered. I hadn't walked up to her because of the bet that day. I had walked up to her because I had felt my heart's strings being pulled towards her own heart.

She was the only girl I have ever cared about. The only one I have wanted to date. The only one for whom I did not care shattering my morals for. My ideals.

.
.
.
I wait patiently outside her house. She had asked me not to come pick her up for school everyday. Had I listened...

No.

I came every day .

And was now even welcomed by Chandini Aunty. Who was glad that her daughter and I were finally getting along. Her father was mostly never home. Her sisters went with their driver earlier and were never there to witness this.

The only one who is probably affected is Abhimanyu. He was Evara's cousin brother. And thought that I was trouble. Was playing with his sister and all that.

I have however found a rather cunning solution to shut him up. I always dropped Amara to school. But for the past two months. I made her go with Abhimanyu while I took Evara with me.

I had noticed that if there was one person who could shut up Abhimanyu. It was my sister. Without even opening her mouth at that.

I am so proud of Amara for being a supportive little sister. She did make me buy a new ipad for her designing course though.
