Atharva does not believe god nor does he entertain the talk of fate and destiny.
He is practical.

But not me.
I believe on fate. I believe on the god and I believe on the holy aura that decides everyone's destiny.

I am religious.
Call me fool but,
I am what my destiny wants me to be.
My life is what my fate leads it to be.

.

"Evara?" Atharva ran behind me when I left the temple with tears in my eyes. The thing Pandit ji has told us broke me into pieces.

You both have difficult trail ahead. And you will fail. You will fail yourselves and each other.

Those words kept echoing in my ears and my heart grew colder and colder. My stomach growling of fear and my legs shaking as the earthquake gulping the land around.
I can't lose Atharva. I can't even think of losing Atharva. I don't want to.

Why?
Because I am in love with him.
I love Atharva Roy and I don't think I have ever felt myself before he appeared in my life.

"Eva?!" Atharva calls my name and followed when I rushed downstairs of the temple. "Eva?! Stop!"

Atharva finally reached me and grabbed my wrist. I swirled with the movement and my body clashed on Atharva's torso. My heart beating speed of light. My tears flowing down my cheek and body shaking to the extreme.

"Atharva. Atharva I can't..." I sobbed. I sobbed hard. My fingers squeezing on his shirt while my tears wet his neck when I buried my face inside. "I can't lose you... Please..."

"Evara. Nothing will happen. Trust me." Atharva surrounded his arms around me and pecked on my hair in row. His palm rubbing my back. "That pandit was talking bullshit..."

"No! They never lie, Atharva! They never lie about these things." I sobbed even more.

"Eva? Do you trust me?" Atharva grabbed my jaw and made me look into his eyes.

Do I trust him?
Yes.
Yes I trust him.

"More than myself." I answered and he engulfed his fingers with mine. He pecked on my eye and pulled me with him to the car. His movements gentle but palm tightening on my palm as if he is also scared of losing me.

What if Pandit ji is right?
What if Atharva and I had to separate the ways?
What if destiny play with us?

.

Thousands of thoughts crowded my head and tears flown down my cheek all the way to our cottage. Atharva and I left everyone else at the temple and came back to the cottage without informing anyone.

He was quiet all the road. Not even a single word came out of his mouth. Though he made sure to give me tissues and locked me in a seatbelt but he did not say a word.

We reached to our cottage after twenty minute and he unbuckled the seatbelt, opened the door and pulled me with him inside the cottage.

"Where are you taking me, Atharva?" I asked swiping my still flowing tears. He simply pulled me upstairs to our given room without a word. "Atharva? Can you please talk? I'm scared."
