Never have I ever known that being a bride is this exhausting. All the gifts, all the pampering and all the shine around...
It's is mighty exhausting.
I've to change my clothes every fifteen minutes for another ritual. Though I had told Maa that I'm okay with attending every ritual with one lehenga but our Miss.
I am Miss Perfection, Ishani Raichand would kill me if I interrupt any of her plans.
Ishani had planned every single thing. Ritual arrangements, food arrangements, stay arrangements even drinking arrangement for Relative Uncles who only visit weddings to drink.
Not just that but,
She had called out an expensive fashion designer to style Atharva and my clothes for the wedding ritual and wedding itself. If I deny wearing even single outfit, I might have a funeral instead of a wedding.Isha is that perfect.
She'd even help you to hide a body if you committed murder, wear a white sheets on the head and act goofy and run around the road, drunk to the extreme and even drunk-fuck
Advik at public place but would never let her professionalism go down hill. She is serious when she works.
No joke about it.As I said, she is super fun until you try to make fun with her work.
.
"Another lehenga?!"
I sighed, looking at expensive lehenga designed by Sabyasachi. One of the most talented as well as expensive Indian clothes designers of India.
"That'd would be the last lehenga." Isha smiled at my condition because, I had changed five lehengas since morning. And matched my jewelery, hairstyle and makeup to the look.
"Last lehenga until you take a bath after haldi."
"Right." I counted. I counted as I know she is openly lying about how many lehengas I have to wear. First, I have to wear a lehenga for a mehendi ceremony and then I have to wear lehenga for haldi ceremony. And then, I'd get a bath and again, I'd get the after haldi lehenga.
I'm pretty sure I'd be dead on the pile of lehengas before I can even get married.
"I can't stop myself but to plan a lehenga for you for every ritual. You're the most beautiful bride I ever planned a wedding for." Ishani pouts as she side hugged me and touched her cheek to mine.
"You're just trying to convince me to try another pile of lehengas." I squint my eyes but hold her hand.
"Not at all Eva!" Ishani said, her eyes doe. "I'd die to get your beauty! Look at you! Your Skin tone? Fucking golder than gold. Eyes and lashes? Fucking more mesmerising than the Roman goddess Venus. Lips? God, if I was lesbian, I would have kissed you right here!"
"Kiss who, Cupcake?" Advik entered the room at wrong sentence because his eyes narrow at whatever Ishani just said to me.
"I want to kiss Evara. Should I?" Ishani winked at Advik and before she can say anything else, Advik pull Ishani away from me with his usual pout. He's just a man-kid.
