Dear Krishna, my back hurts. My shoulder, spine, my hips, everything hurts. Ah, my head hurts too.

Did I make it to heaven? Dear Krishna, am I about to finally see you?

Everything looks white and clean, like the heaven described in books. So, I made it to the heaven. Good. I wanted to go to heaven-

"Eva?" Someone called my name. It's Debasmita Kaki, I mean Maa. What? Did she come to heaven too?!

"Maa?" I said, maybe in my head.

"Maa? I knew you were the goddess."

"Eva? Can you hear me?!"

Now I heard Papa's voice too. Did we all come to heaven together?

"My little girl, do you hear me?"

I feel senses on skin, warmth and goosebumps as well. I guess, I'm not in the heaven. I'm in the hospital-

"Eva Di?" I saw Aesha, her big doe eyes bursted into tears as soon as I opened my eyes. "Oh my, she opened her eyes, she... she opened her eyes." Aesha swiped her tears and I finally gained my stability.

I'm not in the heaven. I'm in the hospital. Why?

Darsh. Atharva. Gun shot. Right, I got shot. I got shot when Darsh-

Wait-

Atharva?!

Where is Atharva?!

"Atharva?!" I terrified. I terrified knowing I don't see Atharva here. Maa, Papa, Aesha, Debashish Mama and everyone is here except Atharva.

"Eva, my dear, you're awake." Maa rushed to hug me but Papa held her by the waist and calmed her down. I was connected to the saline, I could barely move but,

"Atharva... where's Atharva?" I managed to let my mouth to listen to my heart and speak up. "Maa? Where's my Atharva?"

"He's on his way, Eva." Papa said, caressing my hair as gentle as possible. "He'll be here, don't stress out."

"Papa, Atharva, is he... is he okay?" I could not think anything other than Atharva. The last memory I had was-

Darsh was pointing his gun at Atharva, he was pointing gun at my Atharva. I was this close to lose him again, I was... I was a second away from spreading into ashes of sorrows and blew away with winds. I was, I was this close to extict because, without Atharva, Evara does not exist.

My feet moved on their own, my eyes forgot to blink, my heart never pumped and every thought I had in that moment screamed only one thing... Atharva.

Atharva. Atharva. Atharva. And I continued until I was in his arms. I screamed his named internally until I sensed his skin on mine. Without Atharva, Evara does not exist.

I couldn't hear the gunshot nor I could feel any pain when the bullet shot my shoulder because, all I know is that, I'd die for Atharva.

"Everything is alright, sweetheart." Papa said, caressing my hair. "Everyone is safe. You, Atharva, Princess... my family is safe." Papa's voice sounded heavy as if he was comforting himself than me.
