Evara's pov

(4 years after Bonus Chapter-1)

"Athira, my little princess, are you ready to go?" Papa's voice echoed in the room when Atharva was simply getting Athira's hair done.

"Dadu's calling me, Papa! You're slow!" Athira stood with annoyed face while Atharva struggled with braiding her hairs.

I told Atharva that I could at least do Athira's hair but he didn't let me.

He didn't let me move from my place for past thirty two minutes just because I tripped near the stairs when I was rushing to pack Athira's lunch.

Disadvantages of having a doctor husband that whenever is you're sick or pregnant, you're on the hot seat.

Hm.

Well, I'm pregnant, again.

I'm allowed to do absolutely nothing. I had thought Atharva will be relaxed now that it's my second pregnancy but he is as same as he was at my first pregnancy.

Rather, he is even more careful and concerned and worried about me after he saw me giving birth to Athira.

"Atharva, darling, I can do Athira's hair..." I tried to speak and get up from the bed but-

"No, maa! I don't want you to get up from your seat even for a moment." Doctor husband wasn't enough that my daughter is a small version of him.

"Listen to our daughter, darling," Atharva is proud of what our daughter has became. She's only ten but has gotten as intelligent as her father. "She's the incharge of your health."

Not just intelligence but everything Atharva has.

His sunshine aura, his goofy side and his bossiness when it comes to family's health.

When she was five, I thought she would grow up to be just like me, maybe, at some point, yes, but rest of her traits matches to Atharva.

"Eva, are you alright?" Papa's voice echoed in the room as he knocked on the door of our room. He was holding Athira's school bag and the tiffin bag.

"Papa, please come in," I said, "I'm sorry, Athira is not ready yet and Atharva is not letting me do anything."

"No need to hide behind Papa, darling, I'm not letting you work. Forget it." Atharva looked at me from the mirror and cocked his brow.

"Are you trying to braid her hair?" Papa looked confused when he saw Athira's hair that was tangled and twisted in weird shapes.

"I certainly am, Papa," Atharva sighed. "I'm trying my best but..."

"Let me do that," Papa walked to Athira and smile appeared on my face. Papa has learned to braid Athira's hair very well and he do it all the time. "You take Eva to downstairs, her breakfast is ready."

"Papa, I'll have the breakfast later, let me help you with Athira's hair."

"You're one month away, Eva, please, you're not supposed to rush here and there." Atharva looked at me with concerned eyes and immediately walked to me after letting Papa take over Athira's hair.

"Maa, you don't have to worry about me anymore. I'm a grown up girl now." The apple of my eye spoke and my heart filled with warm. "I can eat with fork and knife, I fill my own water bottle and I even tie my own shoelace. I'm almost an adult now."

"Sure, baby, you're our ten year old adult." I chuckled, getting up from the bed as Atharva helped me to do so. He wrapped his hand around my waist and hold my hand as his stare intensely stabled on my steps.
