Greece.
A place of beautiful people.A place where Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera, Persephone, Ares and many gods like Aphrodite born.
This place is magnificent. So beautiful and enchanted. The architecture here is indeed attractive and heavenly.
I'm an art lover and always loved to know about various forms of art. Which also includes the stories and painting and sculptures. And I couldn't thank Amara more for arranging Atharva and my honeymoon in Greece because it is indeed beautiful.
"Why are there so many beautiful men here?" Atharva tightened his grip on my palm as he explored the surrounding while we were walking around the temple of Athena.
"You're the most beautiful one" I said while swaying his arm. He squinted his eyes at me, and leaned closer to peck on my lips.
"Don't lie." He said, looking at the colums of the temple of Athena when we started climbing the steps. "You were touching the sculpture of Ares a few minutes ago."
"Oh that, well," I said, holding back my smile and Atharva flared his nose. "Ares is beautiful, can't blame Aphrodite to have an affair with him."
"I'm already betrayed." Atharva pulled me closer as if I was going to run away with the sculpture of Ares.
"There are many sculptures of beautiful, naked men all around the Greece, now I know why Amara booked the honeymoon here. To piss me off!"
"My my Atharva, you're not supposed to talk about honeymoon or nudity when we're in Athena's temple." I covered his mouth before he curses.
"Why not?" He crooked his brow when we finally entered the temple of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and victory.
"The goddess Athena is known for her purity. She did not marry nor she wanted her devotees to lose their purity." I explained him the story of Athena from Greek mythology. "That's why, this temple is also know for purity, and people are not supposed to talk about any sexual feelings in order to keep the purity of the temple."
"Is that so?" Atharva listened to me curiously, while watching the huge pillars of white stones. "Isn't that why Medusa turned into a monster?"
"She didn't do it on the purpose, Atharva. It wasn't her fault." I affirmed because, the story of Medusa is always disturbing to talk about. "She was one of the purest soul the Greek has ever known, the loyal devotee of the goddess Athena and most beautiful woman to ever exist."
"Then what happened?" Atharva asked as we walked inside the temple, exploring the great architecture.
"The enmity between god of the ocean, Poseidon and goddess Athena was the reason Medusa had to face everything she went through." I continued. "Poseidon took Medusa with force in the Athena's temple in order to take revenge on goddess Athena."
