Battle of Uno Part 1

“Lets play uno!” Dazai suggested as they both ate.

In a restaurant.

Chuuya glared at him. “No, I’m busy eating, you should too.”

Dazai started to whine, “Why not? It’ll Be fun! You work too much and it’ll be a great distraction!”

“Not when were in a Fucking restaurant Osamu.” Chuuya says, using Dazai’s first name as a sign to show he means business.

Dazai slumps in his chair as he pokes at his food.

Fine, If Chuuya doesn’t wanna play, he’ll leave him alone.

For now though.

Which is how they end up at their house, along with 10 others.

You see, while Chuuya was in the shower, Dazai had taken his phone.
He had invited the Akutagawa siblings without Chuuya knowing.

Then he had invited his own coworkers to Chuuya’s house for an emergency summon.

He knows he’ll get it later but he doesn’t care.

Chuuya currently heading out the shower when he heard his security system say there were currently ten people in front of his house.

Why on earth would ten people be at his house?

Chuuya quickly went to his room while yelling at Dazai to answer the door.

“ Dazai! Go answer!”

“ Yes slug!”

As he frantically started to change he started to wonder why Dazai sounded so happy.

Normally, when told to answer the door, Dazai would whine and moan, being the lazy bastard he is.

That made Chuuya suspicious.
He put on black cargos and a gray sweater with a white shirt underneath.

He put on his black slippers and made his way to the living room.

Only to find 10 people sitting on his couch and floor.

The only ones he’s really close with is the Akutagawa’s.

The rest, were agency members.

Then, Realization hit him like a truck, Dazai did this.

Before anyone could greet him or apologize for the intrusion, Chuuya activated his ability and yelled Dazai’s name,

“OSAMU DAZAI YOU PIECE OF SHIT-!”

Anyone who was gonna address him shut their mouths quickly.

Then Dazai arrived with a little pack in his hand. He looked at Chuuya and gulped.

“ Ah, Chuuya dear…uh…I forgot to mention-!?”

Chuuya grabbed him, even with out his ability he still looked furious. He grabbed a protesting Dazai by his collar and dragged him to their room.

And locked the door.

Everyone else just stayed silent.
Ryu broke the silence. “I Hope he doesn’t kill Dazai-san”

Kunikida clears his throat, “I was here because Dazai said it was an emergency summon-“

Yosano gives him a look.
“Really? We all know Dazai would either summon us for some silly thing or just to complain about some random problem. You’re to guidable.”

Gin just stays silent, wondering if Dazai was alive or 6 feet under the ground.

Soon Dazai came out smiling,
With a big bump on his head.
Chuuya came trailing behind him scowling.

“ The idiot here will explain why he invited you guys. Akutagawa’s, come with me”

The siblings just complied, simply by just getting up and leaving.

The rest of the Ada members looked at Dazai expectantly.

“ So, as you can see, I summoned you all here for a reason.

“ What is the reason Dazai! I have a schedule to follow!”

Dazai just tilts his head, “ Blah,blah, you can spare an hour or two.”
Kunikida sighs and facepalms.
“ Anyway, I invited you here to……PLAY UNO WITH ME AND MY HUSBAND!”

He hears something snap, probably Kunikida’s pen.

Yosano giggles as Ranpo just casually eats his sweets. The Tanazaki siblings stop being weird and just stare at Dazai. Atsushi sighs, knowing what an idiot his mentor is. Kenji looks happy while Kyoka just stays silent.

“ So, lets get started!”

“ Won’t you're husband mind?” Kunikida asks.

Dazai grins, “ He doesn’t mind, he already gave me a beating so he’s good. He just went into the kitchen to being you guys refreshments since he likes being polite.”

“ Too bad your not.” Kunikida grumbles.

Dazai ignores him, “ now everyone make a circle, leave space for three people”

They reluctantly accept and wait till everyone is settled.

Then Chuuya comes in and hands everyone a refreshment, apologizing for Dazai’s idiotic tactics.

The Akutagawa’s munch away on a chocolate chip cookie.

Chuuya hands Kyoka crepe and kenji a crepe too.

Kyoka thanks him and kenji beams.
After they settled, Chuuya on the other side of Daza, at his insistence since he knows that Dazai would most likely cheat if he sat next to him.
Which Dazai complained about.
He took the cards out and gave everyone 7.

Chuuya kept a neutral face, but in his mind, he was full on grinning.

2 of his cards were plus 4s, then a plus two and the rest were normal.
Dazai was neutral but he was excited. He may rig the game, the plan is for him to go against Chuuya in the final battle, for educational purposes of course.

He had good cards.

Then he started to talk.

“Okay so Everyone probably knows the rules because I’m too lazy to explain. But there’s a punishment for the loser.”

Everyone sighed, Of course there was.

“ Loser has to do anything  for any of the winners. The winner that gets this privilege will be determined by the wheel.”

That he rigged

He calculated everything since the Idea of Uno came to mind

Now he just had to wait.

"Ugh, seriously?" Dazai's exasperated cry echoed through the room as Yosano dropped a merciless plus 4 card onto the stack.

Regret gnawed at him for choosing the seat next to her. Now, he faced the consequences: drawing five cards despite the power move he just played. The frustration was noticeable as he begrudgingly reached for the deck, realizing the lack of matching color had foiled his plans.

Yosano's playful giggles, joined by Chuuya's amused chuckle, served to fuel Dazai's growing frustration.
He began to huff in annoyance, his carefully laid plans unraveling before his eyes.

Yosano's seemingly innocent actions were proving to be a formidable obstacle, disrupting Dazai's strategy of increasing his card count while diminishing Chuuya's. It was clear that things were not going according to Dazai's plan.

But somehow, thank the lords,

Chuuya started to draw too.

Soon people were shouting UNO!

Leaving Dazai and Chuuya for the final battle.
