A Poet's Progress
By Fox-Trot-932. Catch 22
(5/17/09)I can remember
Back in the Philippines
When I was about five years old,
That I was fishing on a boat.
The wind was calm, the skies clear;
With my fishing pole in hand,
I waited till something big caught
The end of it. Then the line
Swayed back and forth;
And the pole bent downward.
That fish was a huge one:
So huge that it pulled me
Off the boat and into the water.
Thank God, I was on the shallower part
Of the sea basin.(To be continued...)
A/N: This is another crazy memory I had; believe it or not, it's one of the few memories from that age that I still remember vividly. It's weird, I know.
