The airport was bustling with life, people of all backgrounds were rushing past the couple with armfuls of bags and wheeling their body-sized suitcases behind them. They were as far as Clementine could go without a ticket, now stood opposite each other. They had been dreading Friday, the day that Louis was flying to the UK and staying for 4 weeks.

It was the longest they had gone without one another, since the day they met they were practically inseparable. Now that he was stood in front of her about to leave, he found it impossible.

He takes a deep breath, "Okay, let's go."

Louis starts walking past Clem, as if on his way out the airport. She grabs his arm and laughs weakly.

"Stop it, we've talked about this. You're going," she turns him around to face her again. "You're going to go, get famous, and come back."

He scoffs, "I'm going to go, miss my girlfriend and my baby, then come back."

"Louis, you said you'd give it a fair try out there," she looks up at him. She knew he was only being dramatic, he was just upset to leave.

"I know and I will, it just sucks right now," he shrugs, looking at the floor.

"I know but it's only for one month, at least it's not two," she smiles up at him, persuading him to meet her eyes. He chuckles in response, holding her small hands in his.

Louis had already said his goodbyes to Celise and AJ back at home, they had left them with Brody and Marlon while Clem dropped Louis off. Celise was very upset to see him go, but was soon cheered up by AJ's collection of miniature trucks.

"If you need any help back at home or anything, please tell me. I can come back whenever," his eyes looked desperate, wanting her to ask him to stay.

"I'll be fine, you know that. As much as I'll miss you burning the dinner, I think we'll manage."

Louis ignores her joke, "Please tell me if you need anything. I don't want you to be struggling while I'm away."

"Louis," she sighs, "I will be fine. If I'm having trouble then I'll tell you, I promise."

The tall man nods, feeling somewhat content with her promise. A faint warning for his gate opening sounds in the background and he takes a deep breath.

"Shit, I guess I have to go." he holds her hands tighter, starting to feel anxiety build in his chest.

Clementine notices straight away and pulls him closer, wrapping her arms around him. He buries his face in her neck, lifting her from the ground without meaning to. With his arms tightly wound around her, he takes a few deep breaths to relax himself. It didn't work. The seconds ticked by until Clem kisses the side of his head.

"I love you, call me when you land," she says as he places her feet back on the floor but not letting his arms untangle from her.

He presses his lips against hers with a passion that took her breath away; she holds his face in her hands and savors every precious second with him. With a heavy heart, he parts their mouths.

"I love you so much, I'm gonna miss you so so much. Shit, we're gonna get through his month then I'm not leaving your goddamn side again," he speaks quietly, his forehead leaning against hers as he spoke.

Clem smiles, placing a quick kiss on his lips again.

"That sounds good to me."

Another warning for his flight boarding sounds in the background and Clem untangles herself from his strong arms, taking one step back. He picks up his boarding bag and holds his suitcase handle in the other hand.
