*A few weeks later*

Clementine wakes up to her alarm, she shuts it off but keeps her eyes closed. She was not looking forward to today.

Today, she had to go to a business dinner party with Louis and his parents. There would be dozens of posh wealthy people there, all analysing her every move. She was an outside to the lifestyle, and it would definitely show. She never dealt with wealthy people up until she met Louis and his parents, therefore she had no idea how to act around them.

Her head felt as though it had been bashed against the wall for hours on repeat, she was not in the mood.

Clem presses the 'Snooze' button on her phone a total of 12 times before she gets a message from her boyfriend, who stayed at his house that night. It was a lonely night for both of them but they needed no distractions when they got ready for later.

L: Afternoon, beautiful

Clem looks at the time on her phone - she had slept until 2:30pm.

C: shit, I didn't mean to sleep in that long.

L: My lazy little sleeping beauty

Clem smiles behind the screen, still cuddled in her duvet. She somehow still felt exhausted.

C: shut up. what time are you picking me up?

L: Half 5, so you better get that fine ass out of bed and get ready baby

The message puts a cheesy smile on her face, she knew that he would be grinning behind his phone as well. He always did after complimenting her. The butterflies in her stomach reacted, now acting all giddy. That was until she reread the message.

She had 3 hours.

Clementine swears loudly and pounces out of the comfort of her bed, her body automatically mourning the loss of the warmth. She jogs out the door and to the bathroom, turning the shower on. She strips herself of her pyjama bottoms and vest top and eyes herself in the mirror, she winces at her reflection.

She was unbelievably tired and her appearance sure showed it. Her dark hair was tangled and sorta greasy at the roots, the bags under her eyes were heavy. Her stomach growls and twists and a familiar sickly feeling arises. She hadn't eaten anything all day because of how late she woke up. Turning away from the mirror, she hoped that she would look better after a good long shower and a healthy breakfast. Well, more like lunch now.

In the hot beaming shower she shampoos her hair, washes her whole body and her face with a special face-wash that her dad kindly gifted to her, and shaves everywhere. Everywhere.

Clem shuts the water off and steps out, dries herself off then grabs a pot of moisturizer and spreads a certain amount of the sweet nourishing cream all over herself.

With her baby pink towel wrapped around her small frame, she makes her way downstairs to the kitchen. Her stomach had gotten worse and she felt she was on the verge of passing out. Clem makes herself a bowl of Rice Krispies with a side glass of water and sits down on a stool at the island.

Food definitely helped. Her eyes roll and close as she chews.

"Hey there, sleepy head. What time do you call this?" her father laughs, resting a hand on her shoulder.

"I was really tired so I woke up at half two," she smiles, spooning up another scoop of cereal.

"Wow, I'm impressed. How are you feeling today?" Lee turns on the kettle and turns to look at his daughter.
