Bruiser and Clem stood outside the wooden door of Apartment 201, waiting for the client in debt to answer. It felt weird to do this sort of thing again, especially with Bruiser. After she moved away from her past life, she thought she would never see him again.

The metal handle tilts downwards and the door swings open, revealing a tall handsome man stood opposite them. He had smooth light brown skin and dark brown short and curly hair, which was faded at the sides. His eyebrows were dark and thick, and his whole face structure was gorgeous. His muscles were evident through his white t-shirt and pair of loose black gym shorts, he also wore orange socks on his large feet.

Holding the door with one hand, his hazel eyes immediately drift down towards the brunette beauty in front of him, completely blanking Bruiser out. His lips curve up into a big smile and dimples dig into his cheeks at the sight of the girl he recognised.

"Hey, you. How come you didn't call?" his deep familiar voice made Clem's eyes widen for a split second.

Admittedly, she had forgotten all about this guy she met at the Sutra nightclub. She was in a rush at the time, therefore just stuffed the napkin with his number on in her jacket pocket. She hadn't seen it since, she didn't remember it existed. However, she didn't feel bad about forgetting. She had Louis instead.

"I forgot. And even if I didn't, I wouldn't have called you anyway." she smiles sarcastically and nudges his arm with hers, walking straight into his apartment. Bruiser tames his hidden smile and follows behind her. Ethan closes the door behind them and turns around.

"Do you guys want anything? I have some good shit if you wanna pass it around," he begins rummaging through a drawer in a sideboard, until he finds a pouch of a green substance.

He holds it up to the two, kindly offering it. Bruiser stands beside Clem and holds his muscled arm out in front of her, as if he were guarding her.

"My girl don't do shit like that anymore, so get it away from her right now." his eyes narrow as he glares at the boy, warning him.

Clem blinks, shocked at what Bruiser just called her. His girl? No one except from Louis had called her that in ages, it felt wrong. When the two used to sell drugs together, they often had to put on an act that they were a couple. Bruiser then had an excuse to be extra angry and intimidating to unwilling clients, because they normally tried it on with her. But now, she understood that the same act had to be put on again.

She raises an eyebrow at Ethan and crosses her arms. He nods and tucks the pouch back into the drawer and closes it.

"We're not here to get high with you. We're here to get the money that you owe us." Clem puts on a stern tone, one that she used all the time when dealing. She felt quite uncomfortable using it now.

"And we want it right now."

Ethan looks at Bruiser and raises one thick eyebrow.

"You think I'm scared of you or something?"

Clementine rolls her eyes and grabs Bruiser's arm, getting on her tiptoes to reach his ear.

"Go wait outside, I've got this," she whispers almost silently.

At first, he was hesitant. He didn't like the idea of leaving her alone with this guy, but he knew that she could defend herself if she needed to. He felt bad for Ethan if he tried anything with her.

Bruiser nods and kisses her cheek before leaving the apartment. Clem smiles then turns her attention towards the gorgeous man in front of her. She notices his hazel eyes scanning up and down her small frame. She could tell that whatever was going on inside his mind - was disgusting.
