**TRIGGER WARNING: SENSITIVE SUBJECTS AHEAD!! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!**

This is lowkey fucked up, in my opinion anyway.

The glass double doors open to the polished waiting room.

Clementine turns to her right after stepping through the entrance, she's met with the reception desk. A middle-aged woman is sat behind it, on a comfy wheelie chair. She was dressed in her clean baby blue uniform, her name tag on her left breast and her mousy brown hair up in a neat ponytail. She was tapping her slender fingers on the computer's keyboard. Clem rests a hand on the surface of the desk and softly clears her throat, trying not to sound rude. The lady looks up.

"Oh hello, are you here to pick someone up or-"

"Um, no." her voice was quiet and fairly slow, her mouth opens to explain further but no sound came out.

"It's alright, love. Here, take a seat over there and fill this out." the nice lady flashes her a kind, sympathetic smile and hands her a black pen and a clipboard with a form attached. Clem mumbles a small 'thank you' and goes over to the waiting room. She sits down on a two-seater sofa and takes the moment to calm her heartbeat.

All night she had been thinking about the baby. Her and Louis' baby.

She must have stared at her stomach for hours last night, tears welled up in her eyes as she thought it through. A strong part of her wanted to keep the life growing inside of her but the other part of her was thinking about Louis and his reaction. She felt terrified of it - more specifically, terrified of rejection. She knew he had been under pressure by his dad recently, for several reasons. The last thing he would need right now was a baby.

Besides, he abandoned her last night and didn't even call or text. If he doesn't care about her enough to show up, how was he going to care for their baby?

She was torn with the decision, the decision that she had to make all by herself. She tried messaging him a few times, but it was no use. He didn't even read them. Her phone had been switched off since late last night, after she had been crying her eyes out until 1:00 am.

There were a few girls in the waiting room, all were silently filling out their own forms. Clem focused on the clipboard in front of her once again.

First name: Clementine

Date of birth: 17/11/2001

Below that is information about the procedure: how it works, side effects, treatments to symptoms. She ticks a small box that asked if she had read through and understood everything. Clem scans her eyes over the two paragraphs, she didn't really care. There was no switching her decision now.

Place and date: Summerstone Clinic, 13/04/2019
Signature of applicant:

She inhales a deep breath, pressing the pen on the paper and moving her shaky hand along the blank space. After writing her signature on the required area, she looks over the form once more. There was a space for the doctor to put their signature down too, but she couldn't do anything with that. She bites her bottom lip. Done.

Clem stands up and hands the form to the lady at reception with a kind smile.

"Thank you," she briefly checks the paper, "a nurse will call you in a few minutes. Please take a seat," she places the clipboard on the side of the desk then gestures her hand to the waiting room.

Clementine returns to her seat and gets her phone out, turning it on. She chews her nails as she's met with her lock screen - a picture of her and Louis. She missed his stupid fucking face, his stupid jokes and stupid kisses. Tearing her attention away from the picture, she notices her notifications.
