Louis' parents were furious at him when he came home without his £17,800 watch. Him on the other hand, felt as though he was flying as high as the moon. He didn't know the circumstances of the trouble Clementine had gotten herself into but he knew he'd have to bring it up eventually.

There was no doubt in his mind that she was beyond grateful. She may have pushed and hit him afterwards, but she really was grateful that he saved her. He saved the girl of his dreams, without realising.

He just wanted to kiss her again.

It's the day of the football game and Clementine was excited, entirely due to the fact that she dreamt of seeing Louis in the kit he had to wear. She throws herself out of bed and gets ready; she throws on an oversized pale yellow t-shirt and black cycle shorts, it was quite hot outside so she didn't need a jacket. She puts her tight curls up in a bun, her few baby hairs surrounding her face. She had left out two small strands of hair above her ears just because it was something basically everyone does so the bun didn't look so tight.

Clem fills in her eyebrows and brushes her eyelashes with mascara then she lightly paints lip gloss on her lips, which had gotten naturally softer, pinker, plumper after her kiss with Louis. She still wasn't over his actions last night. What happened in the Headmaster's pool, and what happened with Bruiser.

Brushing off the memory, she flings her backpack over her shoulder and goes to school. Late. Duh.

Entering homeroom, Mr Moore calls her to his desk.

"Something wrong, Sir?" she crosses her arms.

"You've been late three times in a row, Clem. I'm sorry but I have to give you a detention tomorrow after school."

"The fuck? Is that a thing?" she narrows her eyes and raises her voice.

"Please don't swear and yes, it is."

Clem groans and turns around, going to her desk next to Brody and slouching down in the seat.

"Detention, huh?" she sighs.

The shorter girl nods and looks around the room at the students.

She catches a wink from Louis, which makes the butterflies reappear in her stomach. She glances at Marlon and notices his pissed off face.

"Oi. What's up with you?" Clem turns in her side to face him.

"Our football match was moved to tomorrow. Fucking idiots," he crosses his arms and looks down at his desk.

"How come?"

"The other team 'had a members issue'" the blond ratboy shakes his head in disapproval.

The brunette glances at Louis, who shrugs a shoulder and rolls his eyes, proving that he didn't care nearly as much as his best friend.

At the end of homeroom, Louis walks out beside Clem. He knew Sophie would be there waiting for him, which she was, but he simply pretends he didn't see her and continues talking with his crush instead. After all, it was her that he was interested in, not the desperate annoying ginger girl.

She watched the two walk to their class, earning a fiery fit of anger to settle in her stomach.

^Time skip to Lunch^

Everyone was sat at the table they always sat at, it had become routine for Clementine too. However Louis sat in the seat next to Clem this time. Clem had also learned the routine of chips on Mondays; that meant that people of the group would buy all kinds of chip-based meals the school did (plain, cheesy, with curry. There were sides of dip too). Due to the amount of people in the group, there were 5 plates of chips to share between them. Two plain plates, two curry plates and one cheesy plate.
