The front doors of the mansion burst open and the young couple enters. Their lips locked in a hard kiss and arms wrapped around each other. The mansion was dark, the only light being the dull invading moonlight through the long windows. Louis kicks the double doors shut and locks them, then swiftly picking up his girlfriend and holding her thighs. Their lips reconnect in another kiss, ignoring the several giggles coming from them both.
Louis carries her towards the stairs but due to the darkness around them and his full attention being on Clementine - it didn't go very well.
He trips on the third step and falls forward, almost resulting in Clem's head being smashed against the edge of the step. She lets out a strangled squeal as they fall but he quickly holds a hand out to soften their fall, his other arm is very tightly secured around Clementine, his hand holding the back of her head to make sure she doesn't hurt herself. Her legs are wrapped around his waist, clinging on for dear life.
"Louis, why don't you put me down now?" she giggles as he stands back up and continues upstairs.
"I don't want to," was all he said, smiling against her lips.
Louis opens his bedroom door and kicks it shut behind him. With their lips still connected, he carefully puts her down with his arms holding her body close against him. Clem slides her hands down to his hoodie and she fiddles with the hem of the thick material, slipping a hand underneath to touch his skin. A familiar feeling of butterflies flutters in his stomach and he feels his face flush at the touch.
Clementines feels him tremble and she softly pulls her lips away from him, meeting his eyes. She could tell he seemed nervous, his eyes struggled to meet hers and his lips were pursed, twitching slightly as the panic in his chest got worse.
"Lou? What's wrong?" her voice was as soft as silk and it made him release a small sigh, he looks down.
"I.. I just don't.." he struggles to get the words out, internally cursing at himself.
Clem places both of her small hands against his chest, "We don't have to do anything now, Louis. I don't want to pressure you," she smiles sweetly, tilting her head in an attempt to get him to meet her eyes.
He can't help the smile that tugs at his mouth, he was taken aback by how understanding she was. In his head, it was just another reason as to why he didn't deserve her.
"It's not that, I want to. I'm just.. nervous," he takes a deep breath and lifts his head to meet her eyes. "I've never felt this way towards someone before. Like, ever." he shakes his head, a few dreads falling in front of his face. Clem gently brushes them from his face, holding his gaze with a smile on her face.
"I've only been with other people in the past because it distracted me from.. me, and how I always felt. My dad always makes me feel like I'm not good enough, and I guess I kinda internalised that feeling," he explains, looking at the ceiling for a minute. Clem doesn't speak, she calmly listens to him with a heavy heart from his words.
"Everyone hears the jokes, the piano, and after that.. they stop listening. You didn't," he looks down at her and smiles. "I'm not used to that feeling, and I don't want to fuck it up. I've never done this with someone I love before, and I'm nervous that-"
"Someone you love?"
Clementine interrupts, looking at him with widened eyes. He lets out a steady breath, although it shakes in his throat.
"I'm in love with you," he breathes, adjusting his hands on her waist to allow her to pull away if she wants to.
She grips his hoodie again and pulls him closer, convincing his arms to wrap around her again.
"I love you back," she smiles, watching as his eyes widen and his face frowns with disbelief. "I love you, and I want you to know it. You've shown me a different kind of love that I've been looking for for so long. I'm not going anywhere, Lou. You're a beautiful person and you deserve so much, I hate to think that you don't agree with that," her voice settles to a whisper, "but I want to help you work on that, and show you just how much I absolutely adore you."
A soft blush washes over his cheeks as he smiles, he had no words after that. Somehow, Clementine had won over his heart even more. For the first time since he could remember, he felt completely and unconditionally loved.
He leans his head down and reconnects their lips, but this time it felt entirely different. This time, there was nothing but love between the two. There were no lingering insecurities or doubts in his head, he knew that he was in love and she returned the feeling.
He leads her over to his bed by her waist, and they sit down.
"Are you sure you're okay?" she caresses her hand against his cheek, searching his chocolate eyes for any hint of worry.
A toothy grin was stuck on his handsome face, his eyes full of nothing but love.
"I've never been better," he reassures, picking her up and laying her down.

That night was nothing that the couple had ever experienced before. To be completely at one with the person they loved. Their perceptions of sex had completely changed, it wasn't about 'looking good' or 'performing well', it was about connection.
They made sure each other were comfortable, they laughed when things didn't go to plan, they had an amazing time. The two were completely interlinked, and they now laid with each other - smiling like absolute fools.
Louis was laid above her with her head resting beneath him, her hands holding his face. Their breath was slightly quickened as they parts their lips. He gazes down at her, admiring her beauty and stealing another kiss from her.
"I can't get over you," he breathes, meeting her eyes.
Clem brushes a few dreads away from his face and her fingers linger across his freckles.
"Me neither, you're perfect for me."
Louis rests his head beside hers and trails short kisses along her shoulder.
"I love you, beautiful." he whispers, closing his eyes and keeping a dumb grin on his face. A dumb grin that Clementine couldn't help but love dearly.
"I love you back." she softly whispers back, placing a gentle kiss on his head before he moves to lay beside her, keeping his strong arms wrapped around her frame.
Louis stays awake for a while and thinks about the girl he held in his arms - Marlon was right.
He was totally and utterly in love.
