The evening with her family, Lilith spend it eating half of the food, she didn't interact with anyone throughout the first hour. Like Lilith suspected, everyone started to ask her questions, Elisheba asked the most questions, "So Lilith, how are you doing lately? You mentioned you're with someone, I hope you two are talking about marriage."
"No there's no discussion about marriage. We don't want marriage unless it's for medical reasons."
"Well you'll change your mind about it, like with children. You're still young, you should be thinking about it."
"Children are a joy."
Lilith wrench a little with the sounds of screaming and yelling coming from the kids in the other room, making the right choice in never having them.
"Yeah a joy."
"You know what, it'll be great if she could babysit the children when we would go out."
"Oh that would be amazing."
"What's your schedule like so we could plan it, the children would want to know you and it'll be great."
"I think that's a wonderful idea, hopefully it'll get you to think about having children soon once you get married."
Lilith let out a laugh, "Yeah I don't think so and I'm not going to tell you anything about my schedule because it's honestly not of your business. Also why should I babysit your children, just because I'm not doing anything?"
"Well you don't have any children or anything so might as well. What else are you doing?"
"Oh really? I have plenty of things to do, I'm a successful business woman who owns a very successful club. Living my life to the fullest."
"It's a matter of time until you finally settled down and prepare for a family."
"Elisheba."
"And hopefully consider to come back to the family, your family misses you and wants you back."
"The same family who kicked me out?"
Silverware were dropped, everyone all turned to Lilith, Lilith smiled and chuckled, "Why am I here? I'm here because so you can stop with the calls of me visiting, now I'm here, what do you want?"
The door ringed and immediately Grace excused herself to answer the door, while everyone continued, "Because of your father, Virginia."
"It's Lilith."
"You should be grateful your here with all of us, it's a sign you should come back."
"That's rich coming from the person who didn't want any sins to be in the house. Pretty hypothetical with Joel and Miriam with their little accident."
"Anyone more food!"
"We don't know what your talking about."
"Oh please we both know Carl wasn't born a month early, you got pregnant while doing the deed!"
"Virginia!"
Miriam let out a gasp, Joel was furious, Lilith smirked and continued, "Since we're doing this and thought we didn't know anything, let's start, Joel you only married her so dad won't disowned you and make the family look bad."
"Enough Virginia!"
"I think we should continue eating..."
"How low that was, Virginia."
"Shut the hell up, Elisheba, don't think I don't know the things you did to make Joel even look at you. You only married Nathan to get closer with Joel."
