"Finally, Jeju Island!" exclaimed Wonyoung as she descended the airport bus stairs and immediately grabbed her friends' wrists, pulling them along while running.
While the other seven guys were still descending the stairs and getting off the bus, one by one.
It was around 10 in the morning, and the group, taking advantage of their short school holiday, had arrived at Jeju Island and would be enjoying the place for 4 days.
"Wait, we haven't assigned the cottages and who our roommates will be," Jake said, walking along with the others, backpack on his shoulder.
"Let's decide now," Jungwon stopped in his tracks, as did the others.
"Rock-paper-scissors?" Ni-ki suggested.
"Okay," Heeseung replied casually, while the others nodded and quickly formed a small circle.
"Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!"
Ni-ki and Sunoo threw out scissors, while the others threw out rocks.
"Both of you are out, choose your cottage," Jay said, then he prepared himself with one hand floating above his head.
Meanwhile, Ni-ki and Sunoo gave each other a hand bump and stepped back from the circle.
"Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!"
Jay and Jungwon threw out rocks, while Heeseung and Sunghoon threw out paper, leaving Jake as the only one with scissors.
"What?!!!" Jake exclaimed, with his mouth still open and his eyes almost popping out.
The others were also surprised, but quickly approached their respective roommates and laughed.
"Naurrr waaay!" Jake said, looking at his six friends lined up in front of him with their own roommates.
"Isn't it better to sleep alone? You'll have more privacy," Sunoo said, trying to cheer up Jake.
"Ah, you're right. This is better. I got a whole room to myself!! Yeaah!!" Jake replied, raising his eyebrows with a mischievous expression and heading towards the line of cottages.
Meanwhile, the others just laughed at his antics and walked to their respective cottages with their roommates.
After about thirty minutes of putting their stuff in their rooms, they gathered again with one of the resort staff who managed the place.
A large room with big windows all around, some comfy sofas on a cream-colored carpet in the middle, and a fully equipped kitchen in one corner.
"You can use this room to hang out and chill. And it's also private," one of the staff members said, pointing to the room outside their cottage.
"So we can chill here tonight," Heeseung said, still focusing his gaze around the room.
"Besides the beach, you can also swim in the pool over there," the staff member pointed to a swimming pool not far from the gathering room.
