One week later...

The soft morning sunlight filtered through the curtains in Jeena's room, gently stirring her awake.

The muffled sounds of footsteps in the hallway, the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and the quiet chatter from the living room filled Sunghoon's house with an unusual sense of warmth.

Jeena slowly blinked awake, still wrapped in drowsiness, until realization fully settled in.

Today was her graduation day.

Sleep left her instantly. She sat at the edge of the bed, staring at the ceiling for a moment, letting the weight of the day sink in—high school was officially coming to an end.

Meanwhile, in the room next door, Sunghoon was adjusting of his dress shirt. His black blazer fit him perfectly, exuding an effortless charm even without a tie. He studied his reflection in the small mirror, tilting his head slightly.

"Something's off," he mumbled to himself.

He ran his fingers through his hair, trying to fix the slight messiness, but it refused to cooperate. Just as he was about to try again, a quiet creak interrupted his thoughts.

Jeena, still in her pajamas with her hair adorably tousled, peeked into the room.

"You ready?" she asked, her voice still husky from sleep.

Sunghoon glanced at her briefly. "Almost. You?"

"Just woke up," Jeena muttered, rubbing her eyes before looking him up and down.

She paused. Then squinted. "Wait... why do you look cooler than usual?"

A low chuckle escaped Sunghoon. "Cooler?"

"Yeah," Jeena folded her arms, studying him intently. "But... something's missing."

Sunghoon raised a brow. "Like what?"

Jeena pointed at his hair. "That."

Sunghoon sighed. "I know. But no matter what I do, it won't cooperate."

A small smirk played on Jeena's lips. "Want some help?"

Sunghoon hesitated for a second before shrugging. "Sure."

Without another word, Jeena stepped inside and grabbed a light hair gel from his dresser. She stood in front of him, barely inches away, and began styling his hair with her fingers.

"You need to push this part back a little," she murmured, smoothing down a few stray strands.

Sunghoon eyed her skeptically. "Are you sure you know what you're doing?"

Jeena rolled her eyes. "Please, trust me. I have great taste."

He huffed a soft laugh but let her continue. Something about the way she worked—her careful touch, the way her brows furrowed in concentration—made the air between them feel different. Time seemed to slow, turning the moment into something almost fragile, something he didn't want to end too soon.

After a few moments, Jeena leaned back slightly, inspecting her work with satisfaction.

"There. Now you actually look like a guy who's graduating today," she said.

Sunghoon glanced at the mirror again, then nodded. "Not bad."

"Not bad?" Jeena scoffed. "You could just admit I did a great job, you know."

Sunghoon smirked. "Alright, alright. Thanks, my personal stylist."

Jeena grinned, stretching her arms lazily. "Okay, I should go get ready too."
