• Jeena's POV •

The alarm that rang from the phone that I placed on the left side of my head, woke me up from a sleep that was actually not that good. Uhm, maybe because that was my first night living in someone else's house, so I'm not used to it. Even though I used to stay here often when I was little.

I got up from my bed and got ready to take a shower. Today is my first day where I will go to school at the same place as Sunghoon. Decelis High School.

Sunghoon, my childhood friend. He was the best at that time. I'm glad to meet him again. I feel like I want to repeat the closeness between me and him like before. Does it work? I hope he can welcome me back here.

Our age is not what it used to be, now we are the same as teenagers. Maybe Sunghoon already has another best friend or maybe, a girlfriend?

Well, I wouldn't blame him. Time goes on and everything will change. But one thing to remember, I will always love my little friend Sunghoon, and support whatever he does. Isn't a friend supposed to be like that, right? Wait, the word love meant here is to love as a friend.

And also, the very nice Aunty and Uncle Park. They also took good care of me when I was young, so I also feel that they love me as much as they love Sunghoon. I really respect them.

I stood in front of my mirror, watching how I looked today as a new student at my new school. Looks pretty good, I guess. I took a deep breath, trying to get rid of my nervousness. Don't forget to smile in the morning to start my day.

Without hesitation I took the backpack that was lying on my bed, and walked out of the room to meet Sunghoon's family who seemed to be waiting for me in the dining room.

I'm still nervous.

"Good morning, Jeena. Let's have breakfast honey," said Aunty Park welcoming Jeena, her new family member.

Sunghoon, who was previously busy with his phone and wheat bread in his mouth, suddenly turned his head towards the girl who had just joined and sat next to him.

"Hi, good morning..." said Jeena.

Sunghoon didn't answer, it's just that his eyes focused on watching Jeena from head to toe.

"Starting today Jeena will go to the same school as you, Sunghoon. So, take good care of her." said the mother who seemed to know what was in Sunghoon's mind at that second.

"Oh, so we're going to the same school too. Alright.." Sunghoon said as he continued to eat the wheat bread with chocolate jam on it.

Jeena just smiled and nodded, trying to get rid of the awkwardness that suddenly came over her when she was beside Sunghoon.
