"Alright, since everyone's here, I wanna talk about something," Jungwon said to the three band members and their manager, who had gathered in his room.

"—So, as we all know, next week we've got final exams coming up."

"Ugh, are you about to suggest a study group? No thanks, I'm out," Ni-ki said, hugging one of Jungwon's soft pillows.

"It's not about that. It's about after the exams. We're having prom night once finals are done."

"Whoa, I've been waiting for this moment forever!" Sunoo exclaimed, practically jumping out of his seat.

"Our band's gonna perform there, and I'm thinking we should play a new song," Jungwon continued.

"He's written a new romantic song, by the way," Sunghoon chimed in, pointing at their lead vocalist.

"Really? You have to perform it!" Sunoo said, clearly excited.

"Do you have a demo?" Jay, the guitarist, asked.

"Yeah, I recorded it," Jungwon said, pulling out his phone and playing the new song he'd written a few days ago.

"I like it," Ni-ki said with a nod of approval.

Their manager smiled and added, "I do too."

"We've gotta add this to the setlist. What's the title?" Jay asked.

"Blossom."

"I can totally picture this playing while people are slow dancing," Ni-ki said, leaning back.

"Especially the couples," Sunoo added with a grin.

"Hello, Jee?" came a voice on Jeena's phone, breaking the silence.

"Hi," she replied softly.

"I'll be there in like five minutes. You're ready to go, right?"

"Yeah, I'm all set."

"Good. Uhm, Jee— don't forget to bring your swimsuit..."

Hearing that, Jeena paused for a second, feeling a bit flustered as she swallowed nervously. "I—I brought it, of course."

Jeena soon arrived at Heeseung's house after he picked her up and brought her over. Without hesitation, he led her to the pool area, just as he'd said when he asked if he could teach her to swim. And today, she had finally said yes.

"Wait, I should greet your parents first. Where's Mrs. Lee?"

"They're not home. My parents are out of town," Heeseung replied casually.

"So... you're alone?"

"Yeah, alone... well, only with you—" he trailed off, looking at the only girl in front of him, "—for now."

"Why are you looking at me like that? Are you trying to flirt with me?"

"No."

"Then what?"

Heeseung just laughed, turning away to hide the slight blush creeping onto his face.

"Lee Heeseung, you're not answering my question."

"You're cute."

"What? All of a sudden?"

Unable to stop himself, Heeseung turned back around, a grin tugging at his lips.

"You're really cute, Jeena. I'm not teasing you," he said, gently patting her cheek before playfully pinching it.

Jeena's heart skipped a beat. For the first time, she saw a softer side of the basketball captain—one she hadn't noticed before. He wasn't just cool; he was... endearing.
