"Umm, everything looks so yummy and tempting... which one should I go for?" muttered the guy with the dimple whiskers on his cheeks.
"This one looks delicious," Jeena exclaimed, pointing at a mango tart with vanilla cream on top from the glass display. "I'm totally going with this."
"Ah, you've already made your choice. Can you pick for me? I'm a bit lost here," Sunoo frowned slightly, folding his hands in front of his body.
"Uhm—how about trying this one?" Jeena quickly suggested, pointing at an interesting cake that caught her eye.
"A cupcake?"
Jeena nodded eagerly.
"Alright, I'll give the cupcake a shot," Sunoo said with satisfaction, finally making a decision thanks to the girl who spent time with him this evening.
Meanwhile, the server had prepared their orders and asked about the drinks they'd like.
"Two iced chocolates," Sunoo ordered.
The server directed them to the cashier to pay for their orders upfront.
The two of them looked busy opening their bags and taking out their wallets when the cashier handed them the bill for their orders.
"Nope, it's on me," Sunoo said before Jeena could take out money from her wallet.
"But—"
Before Jeena could finish her sentence, Sunoo quickly handed some bills to the cashier to pay for their orders.
"Here's your order, thank you," the server said, handing over two trays with their treats.
"Sunoo— thanks,"
"My pleasure,"
Sunoo couldn't hide his smile, even his eyes were smiling.
After finding seats by the window, they sat facing each other, enjoying the sweet treats in front of them.
"This is our first time hanging out just the two of us, right?"
"Umm—yeah," Jeena nodded, spooning up her mango tart.
"Thanks for saying yes to hanging out with me. I thought you might say no—since it's just us."
"Of course not, I'm glad to go out with you. You're really fun person,"
Sunoo's cheeks turned a shade of red, he just blushed hearing the girl's response.
"Actually, this is the first time I've asked a girl to hang out. Usually, it's just my sister."
"Oh really? I'm feeling special, haha— just kidding,"
"Hahaha yeah— that's why— because you're special, Jeena,"
"I'm really flattered, thank you.."
They both laughed after the conversation, which sounded quite silly but was actually very sincere for Sunoo.
