Ch. 28
The next day, after Noah visited. I tried to go to Mr. West's office."Where do you think you're going Shailey?" Said Joe.
I forgot about Joe."Mr. West said he needs me." I said.
"Isn't Monica supposed to get you?" He asked suspiciously.
"Not tonight. She said I can go by myself tonight." I said.
"Well, okay then." He said.
I could tell he didn't fully believe me, but he trusted me so he let me go.When I got to Mr. West's office he locked the door behind him.
"Welcome Shailey." He said weirdly.
He was only wearing his robe."I feel a little uncomfortable." I said.
"It's fine. It's just my night time robe. Relax." He said.
"Okay, so why am I here?" I asked.
"You are here because..." He stopped for a minutes and thought. "Hmmm...I forgot why you're here." He said. "I guess you can go now."
"Alrighty then." I said awkwardly. "See you Monday, right?"
"Yes. You're next appointment is Monday."
He said. "Bye Shailey."The next couple of weeks at the hospital was horrible. First, I fell out of bed and landed on my ankle. Now, it's sprained. Second, Noah called and said he couldn't make it for awhile. His mom grounded him because he failed his math test. Third, there were more mean posts. Fourth, I couldn't do anything about them (cut, suicide, etc...) Fifth, I cried for three days straight. Sixth, it was a gloomy week, so there was no sun. Seventh, the breakfast, lunch and dinner were horrible.
"Ugh. I wanna get out of here!" I said laying on my bed staring at the ceiling.
"You've shown great project Shailey." Said Joe. "Until, you tried to break free last week, and until you tried to cut last week, and until you tried to kill yourself last week. See a pattern?"
"Grrrrr!!" I growled. "I should be out of here in a couple weeks. Shouldn't i?"
"Not after last week. You went crazy. Literally." Said Joe.
"I know. But I'm better now." I said. Just as I said that, there was a notification, I pressed it and looked. I practically just died. Or, at least I wish I did.
"Joe, Joe come look at this!!" I said.
He came over and looked."What?!? Why would they say that about you?" Joe asked shocked.
"If I knew I wouldn't have to worry about it. And I wouldn't have to be in this fucking hospital. And I wouldn't have to be wanting to die all the time." I said to Joe.
Joe sighed and stood back in his corner.
I started to cry.
I tried to stay strong so I asked the stupidest question: "Why don't they just lock the door instead of having you stand there?" I asked.
"Because you could just pick the lock." He said.
"Oh. Right." I said. I laid down on my bed with my face in the pillow and cried and cried.
