6. Bad memories

                                              Ch. 6 
After class Noah came up to me. 
"Gotta number?"
                          "Yeah."
                          "Well...what is it?" He said after a couple seconds of silence. 
                          "Oh right, right." I said not realizing how stupid I was. "Come to my locker. I'll give it to you there." 
                          "Okay." He said. Following me as I walked to my locker. 
                          I put in my combination and opened my locker. Inside were pictures of my favorite bands and pictures of me and my friends from years ago. I noticed him checking out the pictures. 
                          "Hmmm...." 
I heard this sound from him every time he looked at a different photo. 
                          "Here's my number." 
                          "Thanks." 
                          "Yeah." 
                          I knew he was about to say something. 
                          I got my math stuff out of my locker. 
                          I was right. He did say something. 
                          "Who were those people in those photos?" 
                          "Uh...my old friends." I said closing my locker starting to walk to my math class. 
                          " I can tell you're lying" he said this with confidence and poise. 
                          "I'm not..." I said shaking my head and looking at the floor. 
                          "Tell me who they really are" he said curiously. 
                          "Fine. They're my old friends...they used to be my best friends, along with Celia. But they're not anymore." I said purposely leaving the last bit of information out. 
                          "I've never seen them before. And we've been in the same class since 3K." He said. 
                          "Remember Ashley Forth and Maya Derap?" I asked. 
                          "Hmmm...no." He said with a questioning look on his face. 
                          "Well 3 years ago they went to the same school as you and I. They both had...let's say troubles. They ended up taking their own lives by jumping in a river. Together. They were found a couple days after their suicides. I didn't even get to say goodbye. That was the hardest time of my life." I started crying, I forgot I was talking to Noah, so I stopped crying and put on a brave face. 
                          "I'm sorry to-" he started. 
                          The bell rang. He didn't even get his books yet. He ran to his locker. Got his books and met up with me. 
                          He said: 
"Looks like we're in the same math class too! :)"
