Ch. 11
I cut and cut and cut my wrist until I could barely see it anymore. I cried and cried and cried until I couldn't cry anymore.I rinsed off the blades and put them back in my drawer.
I got a call from Noah.
"Hello?" I said sniffling.
"Shailey!? Hey wanna hang?" he asked.
"Ow! Ow! Ow!" I yelled forgetting I was on the phone. My wrists were gushing. I went into the bathroom to rinse them.
"Everything okay?" He asked curiously.
"Uh yeah. Everything's fine." I said.
"You sure?" He asked again.
"Yes. Perfectly fine." I said argumentatively.
"So you wanna hang?" He asked.
"Sure." I said not wanting to be rude, even though it wasn't a good time.
"I was thinking at the park." He said. "Also we can work on our homework together too, since we still have school tomorrow."
"Alright." I said. "See you there."
"Don't you wanna know what time?" He laughed.
"Oh. That might be nice. What time?" I asked.
"How's 30 minutes from now?" He said.
"Okay. That's good."
"See you"
"Bye!"
I hung up and put my wrist back under the water. It started stinging. I needed to hurry so I rinsed it off. Usually I'd just watch it bleed.
I bandaged it up, (so Noah wouldn't see it when I hung out with him), and changed my clothes. I put on a different black sweatshirt with no blood stains on it. I changed into blue skinny jeans and my black converse. I grabbed my backpack and headed downstairs and out the door.
