TW: Ableism and calling Austrian's German.
-------
His eyes widened, as I calmly stared down at him. No one spoke as I stared into his eyes unphased and unbothered. Behind me, I hear Charlie clearly dying from laughter. I reach into my pocket and take out a rusty tong.
"You have such pretty eyes, let me add them to my collection."
"What is wrong with you?" He sneers out.
"So much, would you like a list?" I answer honestly and factually.
"Not the list!" I hear Charlie gasp for air before laughing some more. He used Roach as a cane to hold himself up. "Please, spare me!"
"Yes." He folds his arms. I turn around walk to my backpack and dig around for my scroll. I had written down all my problems on it. Like the rest of my generation, I am aware enough that I know I have problems and can decipher most of them, but I am not aware enough to actually help myself. I walked back to him and handed it over to him. The first few paragraphs were in-depth analyses of myself and after the 9th paragraph, it became me complaining about part of my autism.
"You're a smart-ass, savant."
"Thanks, I try—" I look at him for a second. I squint at him. He had this pleased look in his eyes, probably smirking under that hood.
"He's insulting you," Charlie's tone changed into a cold one.
"Ok German boy," I fold my arms. I see his eyes fill with rage; I know what his little flag represents. I know he's Austrian. I also know calling him German is insulting. If you want to degrade me, I'll do the same.
"I'm not German!" He sneers.
"Hitler would have loved you and your eyes—" He grabs me by my vest and hauls me up to his face. I couldn't hide my smirk.
"Shut your idiot mouth savant!"
"Make me Aryan boy," I taunt some more. My smile grew wider. An arm grabs onto König's arm I look over to see Soap and Gaz standing right next to us. They look pissed.
"Put her down cabrón," Charlie mutters his hands resting on his gun.
"Relax boys, German boy won't do anything to me, not if he wants to leave this base in a body bag." I smile. He looks at me with a cold hateful expression.
"Watch your words, cretin—"
"Watch your words Austrian Hitler." He pulled his arm back and threw me onto the ground. All the air is knocked out of my lungs.
He's so emotional.
I gasp for air, my lungs filling with life. laughter fell out of my mouth like an active volcano. I sit up and look up at him. He's weak. So pathetic. I stand up and push Charlie back.
"German boy," I turn around to him, "You're... pathetic." I went back to pushing Charlie back. I could feel his muscles flexed under his clothes; he was ready for a fight. He looks down at me with an annoyed frustrated expression, He's angry far from being rational. This isn't his fight, it's mine. He doesn't have to defend me in everything.
"Relax," I whisper to him.
"He's being straight-up ableist!" He sneers back to him.
"I got this; he will never respect me you always defend me." I look over to see Soap and Gaz in his face. His Scottish accent melds his words into a nonsensical set of noise. Since when did they care?
"Let go of me!"
"Don't lose your head." Charlie shoves me into Roach which caught me from falling. I look over to see him walking forward yelling in Spanish. It's ridiculous seeing a Scotsman and a Mexican yelling at an Austrian in languages he probably can't understand.
'You, ok?' Roach signs to me.
'Fine, there's nothing he can say that will make me feel worthless because my father told them all.' I sign back. I look over to see Price staring at the two arms folded, cigar in his mouth. He wasn't stopping them, clearly, he didn't like Kortac and let this unfold. I look behind me to find Ghost looking at me. His eyes were clouded in a mysterious haze, lost in thought.
I look over to the second Kortac member, a South Korean. I hope he's more... cordial and professional. He looked up and over to me, his sunglasses obscuring his eyes. I stared into those black lenses before smiling and waving my hand slightly at him.
"Enough," Price finally states. He steps forward pushing back Soap, Gaz, and Charlie. "Respect our sniper." He calmly states looking at the giant of a man, smoke exiting his mouth as he speaks.
"She's more valuable than the two of you," my eyes widen, and I look away trying to hide my smirk. I looked over to Charlie who looked back to me.
'Since when was I excepted?'
'Gisele people don't hold grudges like you.' I roll my eyes. I look over at the two Kortac members. I will make König's life difficult; it depends on this Horangi if I make it one too.
An uneasy silence settles on the group. Charlie and Soap kept staring at König with hateful glares. König glares at me, eyes filled with annoyance and hate. I think I settle nicely under his skin. I ignore him, for a man like him— cocky and confident. Ignoring his ass and being fake as hell will get under his skin far more than if I engaged in everything he does.
"You should be careful of things you say to people who can obviously beat you," Price mutters to me.
"I'll do as I please, that motherfucker does not scare me," I reply and walk faster to meet up with Charlie and Roach. I won't lie there is very little that scares me. I'm not afraid of bugs hell if needed I'll take care of them. Logically speaking I am far bigger and scarier than them.
'How are you going to handle this?' Charlie signs. I see Roach looking on curiously.
'Establish dominance... My way.' I smirk. I see a glint in Charlie's eyes. It's evil and cruel. I see Roach look between me and him a little confused.
'That is?' Roach signs confusion in his hands.
"You'll see buddy, after some time you learn not to mess with her," Charlie smirks.
I know I'm far from the best in this team. Hell, I'm far from being the best sniper, but there is one thing I do better than anyone else here. Freak people out on a subconscious level. Neurotypical people don't like differences in neurodivergent.

I'll let König fall into a sense of winning an achievement. Then I'll rip the rug from right under him. I will show him an unhinged madness, a menacing force I haven't used in years.
The real question is... what's my first move? What's my last move? How will I break this man's comfort?
"Stop smiling like that," I feel Charlie elbow me in the arm. I glare at him, don't ruin my fun!
We enter a conference room. We have a few things to discuss. What Kortac is doing, what 141 is doing, the major plan, and how long they think it'll take. Honestly, I barely paid attention it was mostly for Price and Kortac to be on the same page. By the end Soap and Gaz moved closer to me.
"You, ok?" Gaz asks.
"Mhm?"
"You know about how the colonel threw you."
"Oh, I'm fine," I tell him.
"You're not mad?" Soap frowns a little upset.
"Boys," We turn to see Charlie walking toward us arms outstretching an evil little smile on his face. "Watch and see, she'll get the last laugh."
