Slowly but surely, rain clouds start to form as the heat of the games dies down, signalling that it'll start to rain soon.

"Phew... That really tired me out, but I loved it!" Gura says as she sits down on the picnic blanket once more while Envy and Mumei trail behind.

"...It was fun." Envy dryly states his opinion as they walk together.

"...Envy, can I ask you a question?"

"...Yes?"

"...Will you make it up to me?" Envy turns his gaze to her.

"...I'm sorry?"

"Make it up to me."

"...For what?"

"For going out on your own, abandoning me, almost getting killed by my best friend and then acting like I did something wrong when all I wanted was to make it clear to her!"

They both stop to look at each other. Envy clearly didn't expect her to be like this even if he doesn't show it. All the while, Mumei is staring up at him, anger burning in her eyes as she stands inches away from his body.

"...Make what clear...?"

"That you and I mean more!"

"...Mumei, calm down."

"I don't want to calm down! You think she's better than me! She's real, but I-"

Envy quickly embraces her and, to his surprise, she starts trying to break the hug.

"It's not fair! I didn't ask to be like this! Let go of me!"

She starts to sob uncontrollably sobbing as she beats against his chest with increasing strength.

"...Mumei, just listen to me. You're not a freak, not a monster, not a fake. Take deep breaths and shut your eyes tight."

"How do you know?! How do YOU know?!"

"Because I know what it means to be a monster! I know what it feels like to feel worthless!" His sudden outburst calms her down and she stops resisting completely.

"...You're not a bad person, Mumei. You want, you try to be a good person and that, in and of itself, is something admirable."

"...You may feel alone because no one else shows their imperfections, but that's because they're afraid of showing what they are. They're afraid of being judged by their peers. Afraid of being hated."

"...What does that have to do with me...?"

"...You were like that before you met me, and then I changed that about you, but the others... for example, Fauna... she's still afraid to show herself."

"... She's been... lying to me?"

"...No, Mumei... she just don't have the ability to be as honest as you. She's afraid of being judged. She's afraid of losing you by showing her true self."

"... W-what do you mean...?"

"...Fauna is afraid of you forgetting her. She wants to make sure you'll never leave her... and she's doing that by occupying as much of your free time as possible. She's afraid of being alone just like you, but she's not afraid to coax you into staying by her side. She was jealous of me because I started to take up your free time instead."

"...But why...?"

"...How could she know that you won't forget about her? How could she be sure?"

"...She can't."

"...Go and apologize to her. Spend some time with her."

"...you'll still make up for before, okay?"

"...Yes, i will."

"...Okay." Mumei goes back to the picnic spot, shyly engaging in conversation with Fauna... though shortly after, Fauna is leaning on Mumei's shoulder. It seems like they made up a little.

Envy watches the scene for a few moments before walking closer.

"...I'll take my leave for now, but I'll come back soon."

"Alright, it's getting dark though. Will you still be sleeping here?" Mumei asks as Fauna stops leaning on her shoulder to look up to the man.

"...yes."

"Wait, you sleep HERE? In the PARK?!" Gura asks, bewilderment obvious in her tone and expression.

"...Is there something wrong with that?"

"...No, but I think we should give you a place to sleep, right?" Ina chimes in.

"...where?"

"HQ most probably. I can't think of any other place, but we don't have any extra rooms." She continues.

"Ooh, then he can sleep in mine!" Gura smiles as she lifts her hand up to gain attention.

"... Understood."

"No, no, no. Hold on, don't you think it'd be a little weird if these two sleep together?" Calli chimes in as well, causing everyone to look at her with raised eyebrows.

"...What? Don't you think he may do something weird?" She narrows her eyes as she points at him.

"..."

"..."

"..."

Kiara suddenly slaps Calli on the back of the head.

"R-u-d-e. Calli, rude."

"...I don't mind. She has good reasoning for her suspicions."

"...That doesn't matter, Envy. It was still rude!" Kiara pouts as she looks at him.

"...So, so you agree?" Gura asks.

"...Yes, I do."

"...Okay, see you later then!" She waves to him as he turns around and leaves, but just as he does... It starts raining. And so, they all quickly rush to HQ despite the fact that Fauna could just make it stop.

Once inside, they all quickly dissipate with just a simple "Goodbye!" As a parting gift and Envy is now left alone on the first floor of the building.

So, like anyone who doesn't have anything else to do... he bothers the busiest of all... YAGOO.

As he enters his office without even knocking, YAGOO looks up from his documents and stops working.

"Hello, Envy. If you're wondering about the progress towards getting you back home... we're able to get Sana to send you there, but she's a little busy at the moment."

"...Who's Sana?"

"...Ah, right. Sana represents the concept of space. She's a part of Council, just like Mumei, Fauna and Kronii... whom I believe you've met."

"...Yes, I have."

"...Good. We'll get her to take you beyond the boundaries of our universe and send you back to your original world."
Envy doesn't bother to ask about what YAGOO just said, instead, he just places it aside in his mind.

"...Understood. Anything else?"

"Yes, we're short on managers for today. Some of them had to stay home as they were sick... so we need you to fill in a spot urgently."
