The pair of dancers continue their show, spinning in circles as they look ahead. Hands intertwined with one another.
"...So, do you know where she is?" IRyS breaks the silence.
"...Yes, I do, but I need Sana's help to be able to reach her."
"...Okay... I could talk to her. I'm sure she'll listen." IRyS says as Envy sends her outwards, breaking their grip and pirouetting before falling back into their slow rhythm.
"This is actually pretty fun~" IRyS giggles for a moment.
"Is that so, Princess?"
"...I-I'm sorry?" IRyS looks up at him, a small blush creeping onto her cheeks.
"...I didn't mean to say that. Sorry."
"... N-no, it's fine. I was just take off-guard, is all..." She turns back ahead.
"...I see. Well, in that case... do you like me calling you that?"
"...I guess I do..."
"...Very well, Princess."
"..." She doesn't reply, instead she opts to simply keep staring ahead.
"...We should stop soon. The others should be waking up by now." IRyS clears her throat for a moment.
"...Alright." Envy nods, breaking off the contact.
.
.
.Five minutes later and the two enter through, unsurprisingly, the same window that Envy smashed Shiori's head through.
They silently step inside, taking care to not wake up the others and looking around.
Calliope is gone, Fauna is gone, but the others are all still here.
"...Um... I think I'll go to sleep." IRyS whispers as she walks towards the bed, resting a hand on its soft surface.
"...Alright. I'll take my leave then." Envy gives a short nod before turning back around.
"...Wait, before you leave!" IRyS raises her voice slightly, just enough to stop Envy in his tracks, but not wake anybody up.
"...Yes?" He looks back at her.
"...Where are you going?"
"... I'm going to talk to YAGOO." He lies.
"...Oh... alright. Good night, then..." She turns back to the bed, slowly lifting up the sheets to get under.
"...Good night." He jumps out of the window, a frown forming on his face as he searches around with his shocks.
.
.
.Shiori attentively reads through her book, a neutral expression on her face as the other four girls of Advent look through their new home.
"...So he can control... static electricity in the atmosphere... and make streams of electricity? How is that telekinesis?!"
She thinks to herself, sighing in frustration as she twirls her quill in her hand."...I mean, I get it... it's not as simple as controlling objects with your mind... he has to imagine the objects... but how do you imagine a bunch of electrons?! That's... that's crazy! How many would there be?! "
The sudden sound of a book falling and hitting the ground breaks Shiori's like of thought, promting her to look over to the source.
Bijou bends over to drop the object, smiling sheepishly when she realizes that Shiori heard her and is looking her way.
"...Sorry, Shiorin..."
"...No, it's fine. Don't worry, Biboo~" She quickly calms down, standing up and looking around her new hideout.
A grand library filled to the brim with books. Every wall is lined with bookshelves full of... books. A spiral staircase that leads to a second floor full of, you guessed it, more books and finally, a couch in the middle of it all, on which Shiori herself was resting on.
Her platform heels click on the black and white checkered floor as she heads to the stairs.
Having reached the second floor, she walks to Nerissa's room, dragging her fingers on the railing.
Knocking on the large, dark blue door, Shiori is quickly greeted by the sight of Nerissa's face and the interior of her room.
"...Hey, Rissa. We need to talk for a minute.""...I also wanted to talk with you."
"...Alright, good. In that case, I'll start first."
Shiori steps inside, finding a seat on the red armchair and crossing her legs while Nerissa sits down on the stool.
"...So, first of all. Envy is... a lot more troublesome than I thought."
"...okay."
"...Anything he 'understands' or... 'comprehends', he's capable of affecting with his telekinesis."
"...I'm listening. Just say everything. I won't stop youz you know?"
"Okay, that's a problem because it means that he can affect things like energy blasts or objects outside of his hearing range. He is blind, after all."
"...You usually use energy blasts, but given the fact that he's basically immune... you will mostly have to hold back if we ever have to fight him."
"...I'm saying this just in case, I don't want to have to fight him without a plan. I have also realized that he's far more aggressive than I thought originally. I've noted all these things down, so... now we need to somehow get him to become more docile."
"...Okay, that was alot, but... I'm sure I got the gist of it."
"...Good, now what did you want to say?"
"...Yeah, uh, I kind of just wanted to know of any ways to... well, kill him."
"...Holding grudges already~?" Shiori is instantly unable to hold herself back from teasing.
"...Yeah, can you blame me? He almost killed Bijou and Mococo!" Nerissa frowns.
"...I know, but things are fine right now. We're all alive and safe, we have a home and... soon we're gonna have money as well."
"...That doe-!" Nerissa instantly stops talking, her slitted pupils shrinking as she looks towards the door.
"...What is it?" Shiori instantly picks up on the danger.
"...It's him. He's at the front door."
"...Okay, follow me." Shiori quickly gets up, leaving the room with Nerissa behind, staff in hand.
"...Be ready for anything." Shiori whispers as they walk closer and closer.
"...Dully noted."
Shiori opens the door and is met with Envy's figure, towering over her, yet something catches her eye.
His eyes are white, all-white.
