"...Haah..." Mind sighs as she emptily looks ahead, simply waiting for the elevator to lower down. And that it does, revealing what could only be described as a place of luxury, and wealth.
A massive, towering hall whose ceiling you could never reach, not even with a crane fills her view as she descends.
Lines of gold cut through the surface of the walls on either side of her, tunneling her vision on what lays ahead.
She takes a step on the ivory floor, her heels click and clack on the marble below her, reverberating through the air, echoing and bouncing off every extravagant surface.
Statues and monuments line the path she travels on, depicting great figures which made the world what it is today.
"...Figures who died by his hands."
Twelve figures, pairs of two.
She narrates, adding to the already-spoken words.
Men and women alike who served to keep the world safe, whole... alive.
"...They were strong, but at the end of the day, they were meant to die. That is the story of this scenario."
A scenario of decadence, fall and conflict.
"...I am a final evil that he has to kill as the protagonist."
Her eyes remain fixated on the door ahead, a massive, towering entrance to a chamber for the God of Gods.
"...Hehe... I still remember when he used to dote on me... "
She chuckles lowly, reminiscing about times gone by.
"...It was nice, but..."
She stops moving as two figures appear before her, regurgitated by a vortex placed at around their abdomen.
Their bodies twist and shift from this vortex, forming the shape of a human being.
"...Hello, Erebus, Mercury."
Mors dryly greets the pair, lowering her chin slightly as she stares them down.
"...Why are you killing people?" Erebus's deep, yet smooth voice fills the air, a clear message and tone, and the black capelet that which veils his body in darkness and gloom ruffles with each minute movement.
"...Because I have to."
"Bullshit." Mercury scowls, an evident hatred in her speech.
"...Oh, the things that you don't know, Mercury." Mors shakes her head, her eyelids falling heavy as she looks down.
"...What do you mean?" Erebus questions, his fingers flexing as he prepares for anything Mors may through their way.
"...Is it even worth my time to explain it to you? You die today anyways, no?"
"...I think power got to your head." Mercury clenches her fist and grits her teeth, wanting to lunge and beat Mors to a pulp.
"...Mm, maybe." Mors smirks, raising her gaze to meet theirs.
Without another word, Erebus pulls his handgun, akin to an ebony-coloured desert eagle from behind his back, lifting it up to Mors's head.
He fires a shot, and Mors's smirk only grows wider as she gracefully tilts her head to the side, dodging effortlessly.
"...Before I kill you two, I want you to know that it's not your fault for losing. We're outside of the scenario's boundaries, so I don't need to hold back~"
