Fauna's eyes narrow at the girls as Kronii turns to look at the Keeper of Nature.

"...I'm sorry?" Bae asks, tilting her head and raising a brow.

"...You heard me." Fauna responds, her voice now laced with venom.

"...Well, what're we supposed to do? Grab him by the leg and pull him down?" Amelia puts a hand on her hip, narrowing her own eyes at Fauna's accusative speech.

"...Good point. What was I expecting? You're weak."

"...W-woah, there's no need to get angry!" Gura takes a step forward, furrowing her brows in sudden worry.

"...Sorry, Gura, but I think there is." Calli says as she steps forwards too.

Mumei turns to look at the others, Kronii standing by her side with an interested look.

"...Don't you care about him?!" She speaks loudly, her pupils shrunk to pinpricks.

"We do, or at least I do, but that doesn't mean I can just beat him into listening to me!" Amelia yells out.

"Then you don't really care for him! This is what's better!" Fauna interjects.

"It isn't 'better'! It's the same as treating him like some kind of pet!" Amelia counters.

"L-look, everybody, let's just calm down!" IRyS puts her hands out, trying to garner attention as she too steps forwards.

"NO! Why should I calm down?!" Mumei quickly jumps at her.

"Because it isn't helping!" For the first time, Sana answers sternly, in IRyS's place.

"Stay out of this!" Mumei swings her arm, gritting her teeth.

"Hey, break it up, girls!" Bae says, crossing her arms as her tail coils up, prompting Fauna, Mumei and Kronii to look at her.

Before the Keeper of Nature and the Guardian of Civilization can say anything, The Warden answers.

"...No, don't break it up. I agree, we should take him with us, keep him with us." Kronii smirks, a menacing look in her eyes, causing everyone to go silent.

"...I-I agree..." Ina follows up, drawing everyone's attention to herself.

"...What? Ina, you can't be serious!" Kiara grabs her shoulder, staring at her worriedly.

"I-I am, but I have a reason, okay?"

"...Okay... what is it?" Kiara relaxes her grip on Ina's shoulder ever so slightly, but never takes her eyes off her.

"...When I first met him, I tried painting with him... and he made a drawing about a little boy... dying, alone, in an alleyway. He named it... 'A perfect end'..." Ina looks down at the ground, unsure of what to say next.

"...Oh, boy..." Calli sighs as she hears her words.

"...I've been thinking, and I believe that... he doesn't care if he dies... it's just the way he acts. Nothing ever bothers him... it feels like he doesn't care about consequences." She thinks back to the moment when they were in the city, when Envy almost hurt a person, even if it was a punk.

"...Then he could be dying any moment now! And we're just wasting time!" Mumei states.

"...I-I also have things to say..." IRyS drags everyone's attention to herself.

"...I fought him. You were all asleep back then, but I fought him. And I saw some of his memories... it was just, people dying... a man named Fear, o-or David... a woman named Truth, and another named Justice... and they all called him Immortality..."

"...Immortality?" Bae's face scrunches up in confusion.

"...Fuck, that would explain a LOT." Calli says, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"...Uh, why...?" Gura asks, leaning to the front.

"...Because I can't see his lifespan."

"...Oh... that's why..." Gura chuckles nervously.

"...Yeah, that is why..."

They all fall into silence again, looking around at each other.

"...There's way more here than we know, I guess. Personally, he read me like an open book. It pissed me off, but then he had me catch up with Sana... and I realized, he's pretty harmless." Kronii crosses her arms, lifting her chin slightly and breaking the ice.

"...He also read me like an open book. Umm..." Sana breathes in as the other girls look at her too.

"...He comforted me, because I felt like... I drifted far from everybody. Like I just wasn't there for any of you anymore, and we weren't close like we used to be... ever since I graduated, that is..." She shies away from their looks, unsure of how to continue.

"...Uhh, when we first met him. Y'know, when he first appeared, I got scared... I felt like I just couldn't hold it together... which is why I locked myself in my room, remember...? He came in, and let me, uh, how do I say this... unwind...?"

"...Is that why he was all cut up and bleeding when I came into your room?" Mumei asks, having calmed down from hearing about everyone else's experiences.

"...Yeah..." Gura nods slightly.

"...Remember when I was at your door, Mooms?" Bae speaks her turn.

"...Yeah, what about it...?" Mumei looks at her, furrowing her brows even more.

"...I wanted attention, and... I didn't know who else to bother..." Bae looks away from Mumei, her tail hiding behind her back.

"...'bother'...?" Mumei utters to herself.

"...He figured me out instantly... which is why he wanted me to stay with you."

"...I..." Fauna opens her mouth to speak too, afraid... that she'll push them away by saying her own fears. Afraid that they'll be creeped out by her possessiveness. How much she wants things to be conserved. How secluded she wants them all to stay... all in their own little bubble. Never changing and never moving.

"...I wanted to kill him... when I saw that he had gotten close to Mumei... I got jealous... I didn't want him to take her away... so I lured him away from her... but, he spoke me out of it. He saw through me, just like he did with you all too..."

"...You tried to kill him?" Mumei looks at her in disbelief, causing Fauna to look at her too, nodding ever so slowly.

"...Yes, I did. Back in the nation park, when you found us hugging... I was trying to kill him until then."

"...You..."

"...I did it because I was afraid that you would forget about me, Mumei. I hate it. I don't want that. I don't want to be alone, Mumei. And I'm sorry, but... this is what I am. If you hate me, then... I don't blame you. Kill me, if you want..."

Mumei's eyes widen at Fauna's last words, gazing deep into her pupils, her solid, yet fearful expression.

"...I..." Mumei doesn't know what to say, she didn't expect to hear this. Not at all.
