"...Shut up." Vulcan lowers his finger at this, smirking.

"...Right, whatever you say." Vulcan shakes his head with that same condescending smirk on his lips.

"...Envy, we'd like you to just... come with us. Please stop fighting." Fauna steps up, a serious look on her face.

"...No." Envy fully turns around to face them all.

"...Won't you please think about this?" Gura pleads, also stepping forward.

"...Please..." IRyS, afraid to even move, lifts her hands up to her chest, holding them close.

"...Don't do this, Envy. You could be happy. You don't have to..." Ina says as she also moves forwards, but stops mid-sentence, afraid to speak the last words.

"...You don't know anything. None of you do."

"...Nah, look, girl. It's true. I don't know who you are, but he's right. Stay out of this." Vulcan lowers his chin, keeping his eyes trained on them.

"THEN TELL US!" Mumei immediately bursts with range, stomping on the tiled, rocky surface with a look of sheer fury.

"...Tell you what? That he's a murderer? That he killed thousands upon thousands? Killed the love of my life? Killed me? The FUCK DO YOU WANT ME TO TELL YOU?!" Vulcan's voice echoes through every inch of the cavern, his fists clenched in fury, poised to strike if need be.

Mumei recoils, but before she can say anything, Envy adds to Vulcan's words.

"...Do you truly believe that I am a good man, Mumei? Everything he's said is true. What is there that I can offer you, that the others can't?" Envy's voice is soft, calm, soothing even.

"...It's what you've already offered, Envy. You brought us together, and I think that, without you, we wouldn't have been able to do it." Kronii takes a step forward, a blank expression plastered onto her face.

"...That doesn't mean that I have more to give you."

"...Then it means you can give it to others."

"...?!" Envy doesn't do anything, yet, without warning, one of Kronii's blades is stabbed into his right shoulderblade, with Kronii appearing right in front of him.

"...Tch..." Envy lifts his left arm, putting it against his neck to try and feel the blade stuck in his back as he grits his teeth.

The two lock eyes, both serious and ready to fight. Neither blink, it's like a painting.

"...Don't worry, Envy. No one can hear us."

"..." He realizes she's stopped time for the other girls.

"...You made me feel something, you know? You also made me realize something, too... and it's that you're right. I didn't even know it, but you... you saw it, Envy."

Kronii grins, her fangs showing as an unhinged glint in her eyes shows itself.
