"Polka's a friend of ours. She's nice, but right now... that doesn't matter, does it?" Botan says, turning her head to Envy with a cheeky grin plastered all over.
"Hehe~" Lamy giggles as she hears Botan's words.
"...No." Envy sternly says, despite the fact that he doesn't really believe that to be true.
"Exactly, so let's prank her." Botan says as she walks through her home, looking for the necessary materials.
"Okay, well... I'm gonna get the TNT!"
"Poi. Hold on, not TNT. We don't want to piss her off. I've got another idea~"
"Ooh... And what would that idea be~?"
"...Ah, here it is~" Botan says as she opens a chest full of... iron ingots.
"...What are you talking about?"
"Just iron. A lot of it too~"
"...huh?" Lamy asks, her confusion evident even through the microphone and headphones.
"But wait, there's more~"
"...Huh??" Her tone of voice rises along with her confusion level.
"I need some yellow concrete powder as well, then I'll turn that into yellow concrete... Then we'll be able to play the prank."
"...Oh, but that's gonna take a long time, won't it...?"
"Yep, so just hang on right, Lamy. Oh, you too, En-" She looks up to see that Envy is no longer leaning over her.
"Heeh... Left without announcing, huh~?" She sighs before turning back to the matter at hand.
Unbeknownst to her, just outside of her room, beyond the glass sliding doors, Envy is pinned against the wall by Mumei. She attracted his attention while Botan was looking away, got him to leave the room and walk outside before doing so.
"...How do you want me to make it up to you?"
"Hmm... good question."
"..." They both stare at each other for a moment before Mumei suddenly hugs him, wrapping her arms around his back and nuzzling his chest, listening to his heartbeat. She seems calmed by it to an extent.
"...Are you done?" He asks, eager to get her off him.
"...No, I'm not. Give me some time."
"...Fine." He grimaces, letting her have her for the time being.
"...I want you to play games with me too." Her voice turns soft and ever so bitter.
"...Okay."
"...I want you to play together with me and Kronii."
"...Okay..."
"...I'm going to have a Collab with her soon, but after I'm done... we'll have the time to do that."
"..."
"...Understood?" Her voice becomes sharp and stern.
"...You're being demanding."
"...I know, but I don't care. I wanna have fun with you too... and Kronii as well."
"...Why?"
"...Because I feel at home with you, okay?"
"...I'm not a home."
"...I mean, I feel good when I'm with you. Happy, okay?"
"...Okay."
"Good. Let's go then." She lets go of him, backing off just a little.
"...Not yet."
Her expression turns darker.
