Shiori smiles at his remark, wiping a drop of blood from her nose as her yellow eyes almost glow.

"...Is that so~?"

"..." Envy says nothing as he stares at her.

"...Well, to that, I say..."

"La, la, la~ La... La~" The Archiver starts to sing a tune as she closes her eyes...

"...?" Envy tilts his head questioningly, his empty gaze unchanged...

"La... La~" She finishes her song with a deeper note, opening her eyes and staring smugly at him.

"..." Envy decides he's had enough of her jokes and games, leaning forwards with his right foot in front.

"...Com-?!" She can't even finish the first word as he grabs her by the neck. In less than a second, the two are flying straight up. A sonic boom echoes through the streets of the city as they ascend.

"Well, this is unexpected!" She says, feeling Envy's tight grip as they reach higher and higher altitudes. The air gets colder and colder as pressure lowers more and more...

"... Let's see how well you do." He says as they come to a stop just under the clouds.

"...You'd be surprised~" She keeps her smug attitude, yet...

"...Maybe I shouldn't have teased him so much... not that it matters, after all..."

She smiles yet again, but this time, she has good reason to.

"...?!" Envy's eyes widen as he feels a blast of energy slam into his body from the side, he looks over to see Nerissa, the horned woman flying towards him as he lets go of Shiori's body, letting her fall.

Nerissa speeds up, a sonic boom of her own reverberating through the air as she swiftly catches Shiori, holding her in one hand while holding her staff in the other.

"Sorry it took me so long to get here. The girls just wouldn't fall asleep~" she says.

"Hehe, I told you it'd be worth it to make a code!"

"Yeah, you were right~" Nerissa says as she turns her attention back to Envy.

"...Alright, let's focus." The Demon of Sound thinks to herself as her slitted pupils dilate to take in Envy's form. He's already stabilized himself in the air too, staring her down intensely.

Without warning, Envy charges towards her just as Nerissa falls to the ground, barely dodging him.

Nerissa safely places Shiori down, standing in front of Envy just as Shiori backs away to give the Demon space to act. Nerissa keeps her staff primed.

Envy is now in front of Hololive HQ, where Shiori was positioned moments ago.

The two girls watch him carefully.

"...Let's try some demoralising." Shiori thinks to herself as she smiles again, ready to taunt the man.

"...You know, Envy... resignation to fate is the trademark of a weak man~"

"...Then you don't know anything about me." He says, narrowing his eyes.

"...Shit, did I get things wrong? I should've read up on him some more..."
She thinks to herself yet again as she analyzes his reaction. It seems she had the wrong impression, though... that just makes her even more intrigued by his story. She doesn't want to read more about him though, she wants to find everything out herself.

Envy starts to approach again, prompting Nerissa to swing her staff, producing a mass of black energy, outlined by a dark blue colour, in the shape of a musical note.

Envy lifts his arm and grabs the note just as it's about to touch him, causing it to vanish into thin air.

"...What...?" Nerissa mutters out loud as her eyes widen.

"...Uh-oh." Shiori adds her own opinion.

"..." Envy keeps walking towards the two.

Nerissa fires another blast, only for it to be destroyed by a gentle push to the side from Envy.

"...Tch." The Demon frowns in frustration at her current predicament.

...Fire after fire, Envy steps closer and closer until... they're just a few feet away.

"..." Nerissa throws a jab with the sharp point of her staff, only to have it be caught by Envy's hand, the sharp blade just centimetres from his chest.

"...Step out of the way." He says.

"...Sorry, but..." Nerissa smiles as she lets it simmer.

"...No." Her staff is suddenly propelled into contact with Envy's chest, a massive boom echoing through the atmosphere as rain water is pushed aside and evaporated.

Envy's body crashes into the automatic doors of Hololive HQ, smashing through them and falling limp inside the building, yet... none of the employees make a sound. They're all asleep.

...It seems Nerissa works fast.

Two clinks are heard as a child-like figure falls gracefully onto the concrete ground, looking at Shiori with concern.

"...What happened, Shiorin...?" She yawns cutely as she rubs her eyes.

"...Nothing, Biboo. Just a little..." Shiori sniffs before wiping more blood from her nose.

"...hurt, that's all~" She smiles gently, but that smile leaves her face in an instant as she sees Envy rise up from behind Bijou, his form darkened by the flickering lights as arcs of electricity form around him.

"..." He suddenly charges towards Shiori again, uncaring towards the fact that Bijou is standing in his trajectory and fully willing to collide with her too.

"BIJOU!" Both Shiori and Nerissa scream out to her, prompting her to finally turn around only to see Envy a few meters away. He reels back his fist, ready to hit her.

"...?!" Envy feels a sharp pain travel through his entire body, sending shivers down his spine. His knuckles collide not with what should have been soft skin, but rather a rock hard crystal.
Rhombic in shape and a pearlescent purple in colour, a gem floats in front of Bijou's body, saving her from Envy's punch.

A massive shockwave shakes the air, pushing all the water droplets away as Envy is sent flying back yet again. His body colliding with everything in the building, breaking through to the other side before hitting a car.

Its alarm blares as Envy lays with his head resting back on the roof of the car.

"...Woah, since when could you do that?!" Shiori says as she hurriedly walks up to Bijou.

"...Always!" She happily states as Shiori picks her up in her hands, twirling around and stepping in the puddles of water. It looks like a romantic scene.

"...Uhh... I don't think he's had enough."
Nerissa ruins the moment as she steps closer to them, staring straight ahead with a concerned look on her face.

"...Ugh, now I'm really regretting taunting him like that." Says Shiori as she watches Envy stand up, bits and pieces of glass and rubble falling off his body.

"...Why did you do it in the first place?"
The Demon of Sound looks over to her.

"...I was just curious to see his reaction. Can you blame me~?"

"...Yeah, I can."

Shiori's expression turns sour.

"...Yeah, you can..."
