Tess' POV
school had just let out, and I walked over to my locker. I put my books in my locker and then grab my bag and walk home. I knew if I stayed for detention I would be in even more trouble with my dad so I skipped.
When I got home I see my brother already cooking dinner for my father, so I took over and sent him up to his room. I made a locking motion with my hands so he knows to lock the door. Then I finished cooking.
By 3:30 my dad had gotten home and called for my brother to come down. When he didn't he races up the stairs and starts to bang on his bedroom door. I race after him and shove him away from the door. He quickly goes for a punch then kicks me while I'm on the ground, then he goes downstairs and eats.
I then race to my room and slam the door shut. Then i cry, and pull out my razor blade and cut. That's when it all goes black.
