Tess' POV
"We need to tell someone" Ash says softly. my gaze wondering all around the room trying to avoid looking into his eyes. "I can't" I say avoiding eye contact. I can sense the disappointed look on his face, but still don't meet his gaze. "Tess I..." he begins but I cut him off. "You what? Huh? Ive lived like this for years, and trust me when I say I've thought about turning him in! But you know what, I can't!! Cause I know that no matter how much he hurts me, no matter how much I try to hate him, at the end of the day he is still my father!!!! And i have hope that he wasn't always bad!!" I insist. I look up to him to see tears brimming his eyes "Tess, what he's done to you is unforgivable, why can't you see that?" He says softly. "Maybe I don't want too" I speak storming out of my room.
