EPILOGUE 1A: KANAN IS NOW THE NUMBER THREE HERO

Me, Keigo, Rose and Ren were currently waiting for the announcement for the JP Hero Bilboard Chart. "I can't believe that mommy and daddy are the new Number 2 and 3 Pro Heroes...don't you agree Ren?" Rose said as she looked at her brother. "Yeah. This is going to be really exciting, the two of us can't wait to tell our friends at school" Ren said. Me and Keigo looked at each other and smiling a little.

It's time for the broadcasting of the JP Hero Billboard Chart since this announcement is being held at Kamino {since the retirement of All Might}. I stood next to Keigo on the stage while Rose and Ren sat with Touya in the audience in the front row. The Top Ten Heroes appeared on the stage for this presentation of their rankings.  

The announcement of the top ten Heroes are already begun - Number 10 is the Dragoon Hero: Ryukyu {after she has dropped a rank}. Number 9 is the Equipped Hero: Yoroi Musha. At Number 8 is the Laundry Hero: Wash while at Number 7 is Kamui Woods {Mt. Lady is being interviewed about this since she is on the same team as Kamui. Afterwards, she is showing her frustration towards Death Arms because she is ranked 23}.

At Number 6 is the Shield Hero: Crust while at Number 5 is the Rabbit Hero: Mirko. At Number 4 is the Ninja Hero: Edgeshot while at Number 3 is the Air Manipulation Hero: Air Wave {aka me after I moved up a rank}. At Number 2 is Wing Hero: Hawks {after he moved up a rank too}.

The new Number 1 has been revealed to be the same Hero who has temporarily received the ranking - none other than the Flame Hero: Endeavor {now sporting a new version of his hero costume}.

After the introduction of the top 10 Heroes, the President started to say that this is now a critical moment since it's been approximately 3 months since All Might's retirement and all the rumors that the society is lacking is an icon of peace, which is why they have gathered the best Ten Heroes to carry on the society's peace. As the President is speaking, Hawks tried to whisper to Endeavor about how he feels to be the Number 1 Hero but the Flame Hero gave the Wing Hero no response as he glared at him. 

The top ten Heroes started to give their comments one by one. Ryukyu is stating that she doesn't feel worthy to be in the top ten cause there were lives that she couldn't save and she promises to strive to become a hero that's worthy of her rank. Her words moved the hero Crust, who is trying to cheer her up. Yoroi Musha says that their mission hasn't changed at all since the last time they were on the stage. Wash just shouts its name while Kamui is talking about his team up with Edgeshot and his intentions is to continue doing his best. Crust is regretting not being there at Kamino to help All Might out. Mirko is warning everyone wrongly plotting that she is coming for them. Edgeshot said that he isn't there for fame and that he will continue work on keeping the peace.

Hawks is getting impatient from their comments about striving to do their best as they are continuing to be Heroes. Then he interrupted Edgeshot's speech while questioning the other Heroes if they are trying make someone happy with their generic comments about striving for peace. The audience went silent about his comments as I just rolled my eyes a little.

Hawks just took the microphone from the woman and flies above the stage. He's giving a speech about how the approval rating system is really an important statistic because it's showing the people's trust in the Heroes. He thinks that I should be the Number 1 Hero, he would rank Number 2, Edgeshot would be Number 3 and Endeavor would be Number 4. Hawks is asking why the Heroes that are less accomplished then him are playing safe with his words instead of saying more heroic like.

Some of the Heroes in the stadium agreed with Hawks' comments as the Number 2 Hero passed the microphone it Endeavor. After he remembered what All Might advised him, Endeavor just said one thing: 'just watch me'. His statement surprised the Heroes in the stadium as Hawks is the only one clapping.

Backstage, Endeavor is confronting Hawks as Touya is taking Rose and Ren back to his family home. Hawks is trying to explain to him that he was trying to make an impact. Endeavor is wondering if Hawks is being truthful, sarcastic or even mocking him. Endeavor asked him why he doesn't want to become a leader. Hawks admitted that he would rather be in the lower ranks so that he would have more freedom. I told him that the reason the two of us wanted to talk to him because is that we want to team up with him, since there are apparently Nomu activities in our home area. This has caught Endeavor's attention.

Somewhere in Hidamari Kindergarten, a villain entered a warehouse where there is a huge Nomu is in. The High End, called Hood, is responding to him and leaves to complete his task.

Me and Hawks brought Endeavor with us to Kyushu where the two of us finally decided where we will eat as we are discussing the proposal of working together. During our trip, Hawks is taking an extreme follower of Destro's ideology, helping out the civilians and socializes with all of his fans. The people are taking notice of Endeavor but they are reluctant to make contact with him. 

Endeavor overheard a fan of his being really scared of approaching him for a autograph so he went over there and offers it. It has turned out to be a hardcore fan that dislike his new persona because the real Endeavor isn't supposed to give fanservice, thus he is really heartbroken and runs off while claiming that he has changed, which had left Endeavor really confused.

Later on in the day, the three of us were eating lunch at the yakitori restaurant at the top of a building, me and Hawks were laughing at Endeavor's expense, believing that the kid was actually right about Endeavor's attitude since it's his personality and Hawks was asking for Endeavor's meal since he is not having it, which Endeavor responded on Hawks' greed and gluttony. Hawks admitted that it's in his nature for him wanting to get something he wants, which I agreed to.

I mentioned his son Shoto since we wanted to offer him to intern with our brand. But we're glad that we got Fumikage Tokoyami and Ellie Todoroki with our friend {who is Endeavor's first born son and another Pro Hero}. Endeavor found out that me and Hawks have all the knowledge for not going to UA. 

Endeavor is demanding to know about all of these these rumors that he has been hearing from them. Endeavor is summarising that we must have proof about there are being other Nomus for him to take an interest in. Hawks casually replied that all that we got were rumors and Endeavor angrily shouts for the staff to bring the check.

I'm asking Endeavor to calm down while Hawks was trying to explain the situation. Hawks tried to inform him about all of the rumors that isn't just in our area but the entire country as we had heard it from wives gossiping or school children chatting on the way home. Hawks revealed that we have been working with the police to discover anything from the rumors and although they haven't yet discovered anything, the rumors don't stop spreading around the country, causing fear in the civilians and it will cause everyone to lose their minds. 

Tired of hearing about our banter going nowhere, Endeavor is demanding to know the point that me and Hawks tried to make. Hawks basically asked Endeavor, as the Number 1 Hero, to lay these rumors to rest and show these citizens that there is nothing to fear. Then Hawks wants to live in a world where all Heroes can take leisure in their work without stressing themselves out, wanting Heroes to have some more free time in their lives.

Suddenly, the three Heroes noticed a dark figure in the sky approaching at full speed towards where the three of us were. The waitress arrived as she was bringing the check but Hawks immediately pulled her away while I moved out of the way to where Endeavor was standing when Hood's head came crashing through the window and he asking on who's the strongest one. Endeavor ordered Hawks to evacuate everyone while asking for my help to deal with the Nomu. Hawks told me to stay safe until he can get there to help the two fo us as I nodded my head a little. Endeavor saw that the rumors were true and he is really glad that this was well timed.

Endeavor is taking the initiative by attacking with Jet Burn, a blast of fire that sent Hood out of the building to damage it. Taking to flight by propelling himself in the air with his fire and I used my dragon wings to fly as well, Endeavor is planning to show that Nomu what it really means to be the Number 1 Hero.
