CHAPTER 1: BEASTS UNLEASHED

The four of us were at Riptide Gym, doing a karate lesson. Blaze noticed a person wasn't paying any attention. Blaze and a boy called Devon started to fight each other and it's got a little bit out of hand. The Mayor called Devon out as the two of them left the building.

"How big is that ego of yours bro?" Liam said sarcastically to him as the four of us were about to get changed. "Very funny" Blaze said. After all of us got changed, the four of us were about to head out of Riptide Gym. "We need to head to the command center, Commander Shaw needs to see all of us" Roxy said. "Yeah, she said that it might be really important" I said.

When the four of us got back to the command center, we met up with Commander Shaw in the main room of the building. "Welcome back. As you may know, the four of you had some rigorous training to become the next group of Rangers to protect the Morphin' Grid. But in these recent events, we are going to be needing one more to add to this group. She's had the necessary training and she has the experience in battling villains" Commander Shaw said.

"May I ask on who this person is?" Liam asked. "Glad you asked Liam...this person is coming from Japan and she has made her way through the rankings on the Japanese Hero Bilboard Chart to get to where she is now. Her name is Kanan Takami aka Air Wave" Commander Shaw said as Roxy and Blaze were getting really excited that she's coming here as the two of them are big fans of her.

I arrived in Coral Harbor. After I had left the airport...two people from Grid Battleforce came up to me. "Kanan Takami?" one person asked. "Yeah, that's me" I said. "We're here to take you to Grid Battleforce" another person said. "Ok then. Lead the way" I said as the three of us got into the car.

The three of us were in the car that was heading towards Grid Battleforce, I got a phone call from Keigo and I answered it. "Hey Keigo. Yeah, I've just arrived in Coral Harbor. How are Rose and Ren? Ok, I'll call you later. Give the kids my hugs when they put into bed. Love you too Keigo, bye" I said as I ended the call and put my phone into my pocket just before I arrived outside the building. Little did I know...someone was following me.

I exited the car as I stood in front of the building. Someone bumped into me when I was about to walk into the building.

"Sorry" the girl apologized. "Are you ok?" I asked. "Yeah, I'm fine" the girl said when she looked at me.

"Oh my god! You're that Pro Hero from Japan, aren't you?" she said. "Yeah, I am. Hi, my name is Air Wave but you can call me Kanan if you like" I said as I stook my hand out.

"My name is Zoey, Zoey Reeves" Zoey said as she shook my hand. "Next question, do you know Brian Matthews?" she asked. "Yeah, he's my dad" I said as she looked really surprised.

"It's an honor to meet you, I'm a really big fan of him and I listened to all of his songs. I just listened to his new song Mercy. Did you listen to his new song?" she said. "Yeah and I wrote the song for my dad" I said as she's really surprised again. "I'm sure the next time I'll see my dad, I'll tell him that he has a fan in Coral Harbor when I go back to Summer Cove" I said.

"Sweet" Zoey said as she cleared her throat a little. "Let's head in, shall we?" she said.

The two of us went inside the building as we saw two security guards scanning a man.

"Stop! Do you know who I am?" the man said.

"I do..." Zoey started to say as the two of us went over to him. "Your Mayor Daniels" she said.

The security guards looked at each other, really surprised. "The Mayor?" the two of them said.
