CHAPTER 37: FOSSIL FRENZY

All of us were at Riptide Gym. Steel was watching the rest of us doing some training. "Come on team, give it all you got!" Steel said. Blaze knocked Ravi off while Natsuo knocked Nate off and I knocked Roxy off. Then Blaze went after me and Natsuo. "Kanan, Natsuo, knock him down!" Steel said. Blaze and Natsuo ended up falling onto the ground.

"Kanan wins!" Steel said. "Natsuo!" someone called out. Natsuo looked to see who it is. "Hey sis!" Natsuo said. Natsuo went to go and sit at a table to talk to his sister.

Ben and Betty rushed into the gym. "Pickles!" Ben and Betty called out. "Where are you?" Ben asked. "We are dog sitting for dad and we kinda lost the rascal. Have any of you seen him?" Betty asked. "No but we've been a little busy. Sorry" Ravi said. "There he is. He's stealing food again!" Betty said. All of us saw Pickles on a table eating somebody's food. Ben and Betty were chasing after Pickles.

"Don't worry, I got him" I said, holding Pickles. "Thanks, Kanan" Ben and Betty said. "Of course" I said, handing Pickles to Ben. Then Ben and Betty started cooing at Pickles.

Me and Ravi entered the gym as the two of us just saw Natsuo's sister, Fuyumi leave. "Hey Fuyumi" I greeted. Fuyumi just walked past the two of us without saying a word to us. "What's up with her?" Ravi asked. "I accidentally destroyed her fossil before she can even show it to her class" Natsuo replied. "Oh man, is she mad?" Ravi asked. "No, she's just sad. It's all my fault. I have got to do something" Natsuo said as he was about to leave.

"Hey, I was just going to workout but how about I give you a hand?" Ravi asked. "I was about to grab a drink but I can help as well" I said. "No. I have caused this problem, I have to fix it" Natsuo said. "Are you sure?" I asked. "We would be happy to..." Ravi started to say. "No, no. I got it, thanks" Natsuo said as he left.

Me and Ravi entered the lab. "Hey, guys" I greeted. "What are you up to?" Ravi asked. "I just finished Jax and Elzie's maintenance, I'm all done" Nate said. "I feel like a spring chicken" Jax said. "I feel really good after that" Elzie said. "Don't you mean spring rabbit?" Steel questioned.

"Did you two read this story about Natsuo's sister?" Roxy asked, holding up the newspaper to show the two of us. "She was really brave. She even climbed Honnald Peak to get that fossil" Steel said. "Honnald Peak?" I asked. "You would've to be pretty nuts to tackle that cliff alone, even for a rare fossil" Blaze said.

"I didn't know that he was going up there" Ravi said. "I didn't know either" I said. "Who?" Blaze asked. "Natsuo" I said. "Natsuo's going up the peak?" Elzie asked. "Yeah...he destroyed Fuyumi's fossil so he's trying to get another one" I said. "Natsuo, come in. Natsuo. No answer" Nate said.

"He could be in trouble" Nate said. "Prep the Dragon Zord. It's windy but this dragon knows how to fly" Elzie said. "Good idea, Elzie. Let's fly" I said.

All of us appeared Morphed as we went on top of the mountain. "Hey robot!" I said as I kicked Robo-Kanan back. "Coming down!" Nate said. All of us landed next to Natsuo and helped him back up. "Boy, am I really glad to see you" Natsuo said. "We thought that you might be in a tight spot" Ravi said. "That's an understatement" Natsuo said. "You wasn't answering so I brought you another communicator" I said. "Thanks" Natsuo said.

Robo-Kanan Morphed into her corrupted form. "Don't you know not to mess with poisonous plants!" Robo-Kanan said. "Activate Beast Power!" Natsuo shouted as he Morphed. "Tronics!" Robo-Kanan shouted as some Tronics appeared. "Let's take them down!" Natsuo said. All of us started to fight.
