CHAPTER 16: GORILLA ART

All of us got to the park as we saw Smash painting on the wall. "Smash?" Ravi said. "What's he doing?" Roxy asked. "He's painting, right? Even I know that" Steel said. "He is painting alright" I said. "I think this is my favorite color" Smash said as he painted blue onto the wall.

Ben and Betty came back looking wet. "What happened to you two?" Natsuo asked. "Don't ask" Ben replied. "He was like that when we got here" Betty said. "Since when is Smash such an artist?" Roxy questioned. "Never...not unless somebody reprogrammed him" Nate said.

A Robotron appeared and civilians were screaming as they ran away. "Ben and Betty, get out of here" Blaze said. "You don't have to tell us twice!" Ben said as the two of them ran away from the scene. Liam suddenly appeared next to Turbotron. "Oh look, it's Vincent Van Gorilla. How cute" Liam said. "It is time to send them packing" I said.

"It's Morphin' Time!" I shouted. All of us summoned our Morphers on our wrists as Nate and Steel got their Morphers in their hands.

"Activate Beast Power!" we shouted as all of us Morphed.

"Unleash the Beast!" all of us shouted.

All of us started to fight. "Too easy. Turbotron...capture the Beast Bot" Liam said. "No!" Ravi said as he attacked Liam. All of us continued to fight Liam. Natsuo saw Smash being taken away from the scene. "He's taking Smash!" Natsuo said. "No! Back off!" Ravi said. Natsuo and Ravi saved Smash. All of us were still fighting Liam.

All of us found Ravi and Smash nearby. "Hey...we sent Liam retreating. How did you guys do?" I said. "We're fine, the Robotron's toast. We better get back to the base" Ravi said. Suddenly, Grid Battleforce Cars arrived. "Hey, right on queue" Steel said. "Come on, Smash" Ravi said. All of us were heading towards the cars.

All of us were back at Grid Battleforce. We entered the lab as all of us saw Ravi and Smash. "Hey, glad you guys are ok" Blaze said. "Now...let's see how you are doing Smash" Nate said as he looked at the computer. "Oh...sounds good" Smash said. "What are you going to do?" Ravi asked. "We need to determine why Smash is really obsessed with art. It's a waste of time for any Grid Battleforce member. Let alone one of the Beast Bots" Commander Shaw said. "We can't have him running off again...it's dangerous" Nate added. "Yeah, of course" Ravi said.

"So why is Smash suddenly started to paint?" Roxy asked. "Let's find out...enter program mode" Nate said. "That's odd Smash's Zord interface system is corrupted" Nate added. "Then we can't use the Wheeler Zord" I said. "That's not good at all" Blaze said. "Smash must be fixed before we need his Zord. Get to it" Commander Shaw said. Commander Shaw left the lab.

"It looks like someone tampered with Smash's programming" Nate said. "Who would do that?" Natsuo questioned. "I have no idea" I said. "Guys...it was me" Ravi said. "You? But why?" Nate asked. "Cause I'm the artist...not Smash" Ravi replied. Ravi went to an area and took out his painting.

"Smash saw me painting so I tried to erase his memory cache so I might've pressed the wrong button or two" Ravi said. "You painted this? Ravi, This is good" Roxy said. "Really good" Blaze said. "This is amazing" I said. "And talented" Natsuo said. "You think?" Ravi said. "Phenomenal" Nate replied. "Thanks guys...that really means a lot. Can you keep this a secret, cause I don't want my mom to find out. You saw how she reacted to Smash's painting" Ravi said as he put the painting back. "Yeah, she's not really a fan of the arts" Natsuo said.

Natsuo's communicator beeped.  "Rangers, come in. Break in reported at a Morph X Factory Warehouse in Sector Delta 1-3" an agent said. "Delta 1-3, roger that" Natsuo said. "Go ahead, I will restore Smash's systems" Nate said. All of us left to head towards the location.

All of us reached the warehouse. "Over there" Steel said. "Hey you, step away from the Morph X!" Blaze said. All of us got into a fighting stance. "Rangers? Oh no...I don't want to hurt you but I will" the stranger said. "You missed but we won't miss you" I said.

"It's Morphin' Time!" I shouted. All of us summoned our Morphers on our wrists while Steel got his Morpher in his hand.

"Activate Beast Power!" we shouted as all of us Morphed.

"Unleash the Beast!" all of us shouted.

All of us started to fight the stranger. Blaze's communicator beeped. "Let me guess, incoming Gigadrone" Blaze said. "Roger that and Nate's still working on Smash. We're deploying the Racer, White Dragon and Chopper Zords as we're sent Cruise to pick you up" Commander Shaw said. "Go...we can handle this light weight" I said. "Thanks" Blaze said as him, Roxy and Natsuo left. Me, Ravi and Steel continued to fight the stranger.

The stranger got to a dead end. "He's trapped, I can take it from here" Steel said. "That's great. Me and Kanan will help the others" Ravi said. "Good luck, Steel" I said. Me and Ravi left.

Blaze and Cruise tried to hit Turbodrone but missed. Me and Ravi appeared in our Zords and joined the others. "Did someone need a boost?" Ravi asked. "We can lend a hand" I said. "The higher the better" Blaze said. Ravi and Smash went into Gorilla Mode. "Ready when you are" Ravi said. Blaze had bounced off of Ravi's Wheeler Zord. "Here we go" Ravi said. Blaze destroyed the Gigadrone. "Virus Eliminated!" Blaze said. "And a perfect landing" I said.

All of us were at the park...cleaning the painting Smash made off the wall. I saw Ravi hugging Smash. 'It seems like they are going to be greater friends' I thought to myself. "All done. It's time for a break, little bro" Betty said. "Thanks guys for all of your help" Ben said. "Anytime" Natsuo said. "Betty wait! Heads up!" Ben said. Two buckets of soap got thrown into the air and landed on Ben and Betty. "We should have seen that coming" Ben said. All of us were laughing.
