CHAPTER 7: A FRIEND INDEED

All of us were in Grid Battleforce. Me and Natsuo were in a room as I was checking to see if I got any emails from work or from my husband while Natsuo was catching up on his work when he goes back to college.

After we sorted that out, the two of us went to check on Blaze and Ravi, who were on their break from their training. "Do you want a drink, I managed to pick it out for you. It is blueberry get it? Blue-berry, for the Blue Ranger" Smash said as he held out a blueberry juice as he laughed a little bit.

"No thanks, water's just fine" Ravi said. "Oh" Smash said, feeling a little bit sad. "I'll take that so that it doesn't go to waste" Natsuo said as he grabbed the blueberry juice from Smash. Cruise, Toothless and Elzie came into the room. "I brought you a can of Max Coffee like you requested Kanan" Toothless said. "Thanks Toothless" I said as I pet him and took the can.

"Do you have any more of those?" Blaze asked. "Yeah, I do" I said. "Can I have one please?" Blaze asked. "Yeah, sure" I said as I got the can out of my bag and gave him the can. "Before I forget, you got a message from your husband saying to call him as soon as you can" Toothless said to me. "Thanks, I will call him later" I said.

Cruise walked up to Blaze, holding a red colored juice. "Sorry I'm late Blaze, I've brought your favorite...drink" Cruise stopped for a little bit when Blaze already drinking some coffee what I had given him. "Too late buddy, did you take that shortcut through the park I told you about?" Blaze asked. "No. But I..." Cruise started to say. "Nevermind" Blaze said, interrupting him.

"I think that I had enough training for one day" Blaze said. "Really? I could go for another round" Ravi said as he playfully punched Blaze's shoulder. "Of course you world, you're a machine but I'm not...see ya" Blaze said as he left with Cruise following him. "We better go too Toothless" I said. "You got it, Kanan" Toothless said. "I better go, are you coming Elzie" Natsuo said. "Let's go Natsuo" Elzie said. Me, Natsuo, Toothless and Elzie walked out of the room.

All of us entered the lab. Ben and Betty bumped into Blaze and Ravi, causing a bunch of boxes fall. "Woah, watch out guys" Blaze said. "Sorry" Ben said as he laughed a little bit. "Where are they going in such a hurry?" I asked. "Jax goofed up, I asked him for some office supplies and somehow he has ended up with party supplies" Roxy said as she placed a party hat on top of her head.

"Mission training...I'll meet you guys out back" Nate said while he's holding a blaster. "Don't forget your Beast X Blasters" he said as he walked out of the lab. "We have the same problem with our Beast Bots" Ravi said. "Cruise is constantly forgetting things...which makes him really late sometimes" Blaze said. "Smash is always mothering me, which is pretty annoying" Ravi said. "Sometimes I wish they would do as we ask with no questions, no drama. You know" Roxy said. "Elzie wouldn't stop complaining at all" Natsuo said. "Let's go" Blaze said. The four of them grabbed their blasters as they started to leave the lab.

"I think that you guys are over exaggerating" I said as the others ignored me. I sighed a little, grabbed my blaster and I went out of the lab.

All of us were outside the building. "Nate?" Blaze said. "Nate said to us to meet him out here" Ravi said. A car burst through a bunch of boxes. "It must be Evox" I said. All of us used our blasters and fired it at the car. All of us ducked as it came close but it just passed through us. All of us are looking back. "What just happened?" Natsuo asked. "It was just a hologram" Nate said. "A hologram?" Roxy questioned. "So you mean that was a illusion?" Ravi questioned. "Yeah" Nate said. "Wow, it looked so real" I said.

"I've installed a nano-projector into your blasters so you can hologram when you get into a jam" Nate said. Our Beast Bots came towards us. "Hey. Uh...we were thinking that maybe you guys want to have a break" Cruise said. "Thanks but not right now" Blaze said. "Just for a few minutes?" Smash asked. "Smash...we're learning about our new weapon...it's really important" Ravi said. "Oh" Smash said, a little bit sad. "Sorry...maybe later guys" Roxy said. "Ah, ok" Jax said, a little sad. "What about you, Kanan?" Toothless said. "I guess that a short break won't hurt" I said. Toothless was really happy when I went over to my Beast Bot. "What about you, Natsuo?" Elzie asked. "Not right now Elzie" Natsuo said. "Oh, ok" Elzie said, sounding a little bit upset.
